Lunge Ladder
All Rolling Stone BackblastsAugust 10th, 2017
The dreaded threat of “nado” came over the Slack channel last night. YHC volunteered as tribute on sign-up genius.
An aside: Sign up for Rolling Stone Q.
I quickly hit the backblast button and saw this gem from The Dawg House. Seemed crazy enough.

Moleskin: I was right on the edge of “If you can’t Q it, don’t do it”. Not that I couldn’t do it – just that I couldn’t do it at the solid pace of the guy to my right (Sparknut)…or well every other PAX Thanks to Dr. Phil for keeping me grounded when I lost count. Also, props to Heatstroke and Sparknut for the prompts.
When you blame me for your burning quads, please keep this in mind:
A person’s wisdom yields patience; it is to one’s glory to overlook an offense.

Aye!
Nicely done Kilowatt. Simple, effective and most surely …painful. Last time I did that many lunges (July 4th, you never forget) I felt it for almost a week. Tylenol, Ib, repeat……..
Yeah, you’ll see that it was mixed up more in the Dawg Haus’ version of things…but I hate bear crawls.
I hope I can walk tomorrow, nicely ripped off! Lesson for prospective Qs: you don’t need to create beatdowns from scratch, just look at some older backblasts and incorporate those. Easy peezy.
Indeed. You can also improve on them. For example, I noticed that time management after the second ladder seemed challenging which is why I had a couple of plans. So…when someone steals this one, they may say “Ah, there’s an extra exercise I can squeeze in instead of the blocks with curls”
