YHC arrived at CB extremely early (0522 or so) to crisp, 59 degree, “suck it bros” weather conditions  to assess the lighting conditions at our general location.  The lights were pretty much still all out as they have been for going over a week now.  It would be nice if we knew a business owner located at this AO who could lodge a complaint or two to get this rectified.  Ahem! Sparknut Ahem!  Anyhoo, the light shined from the BB&T drive-thru so YHC just parked his vehicle there as there was an arsenal of gear to unload for this BellRuck extravaganza and ain’t nobody got time for multiple trips across parking lots.  Jimmy Buffett took the liberty of parking right behind me and we unloaded the gear.  Strolled over to CB at 0530 to bring the PAX to the BB&T.  It was mentioned that we may have an FNG with us, but details emerged that he was named on Friday at Skywalker…Squiggy.  He mentioned that he would like to be called “Squat” as he had been called that before…that’s nice Squiggy…denied.  I believe Squiggy may have been a little fuzzy on how all this works and was not actually posting to a different AO angling for a new nickname.  He was just with an entirely different crew today.  With that, and a disclaimer given, we strolled to the BB&T for our BellRuck.

Warmarama:  Drop bells, lap around bank, SSH X 20, IST X 20, Merkins X 10, MC X 10, Peter Parker X 10

The Thang:  BellRuck

YHC just recently picked up 3 rucksacks that were rather stiff and needed to be broken in, sooo why not utilize the PAX for help with that!  Two Ruckers and one Bullet Ruck (smaller) were presented.  Each Rucker had 60# worth of barbell plates in them, while the Bullet had 20#.  I also wanted to make sure BG and BR were shown more love.  So stations were set up with Rucks and Bells (with mandatory BR and BG usage.)  Here are the stations with the rucker being the timer, rotate on return:

Done for two rounds, then switched time to farmer carries with both 60# rucks – to stop sign and back.  60# squat transitioned to shoulder raises with 2-10 lb barbell plates (more props!) Done for two more rounds.  Sparknut bailed at 0607.  We circled for Mary:

Mary:

Low flutter circle of hell (ok just making that up) but it was fun!  One PAX calls cadence to 10 doing the W, while all other pax perform low flutters to same cadence.  Pax to right then goes next doing the W, while others do low flutter.  Rotate around circle until everyone has called cadence doing the W.  Recover, Recover.  Good times there.

COT: Beer Mile at Skywalker on Saturday.  Keep Avrilius (fuzzy on the name,) his son, and all affected in prayer.  His son has come down with a mysterious illness/virus that is causing boils to erupt all over.  He has been taken to Chapel Hill and is being treated like a burn victim until they find out what is going on.  Scary.  I forgot to mention to also keep Cheech’s family in prayer as I was wearing the new sleeveless shirt in his honor for the first time this am.

Moleskin:  I will modestly call the BellRuck experiment a success!  Hope the rucking part was kinda fun! Nice to mix in something different. I believe we were all grateful for the timer moving quickly as all exercises started to suck regardless of station.  The “suck it bros” conditions (Sugar should have been here) also really helped, that would have been downright miserable in high humidity.  Everybody pushed through that like champs, nice work!  Props to Squiggy out there, excellent debut Bell Buster appearance.  I think he’ll be a regular at BBs as he plans to procure a KB soon.  I am actually planning on selling the Black Rucker rucksack to any PAX that might be interested.  I liked the brown color better after buying the black one, so that is the reason for selling.  Selling for the sale price I bought it at of $125, if you’re interested.  I have heard that Packer might be interested, but anyone may reach out to me about it.  Great work gentlemen, have a great week!
