Swingin Monkeys!

All All MECA Backblasts

June 22nd, 2017 By Sugar

12 Men joined YHC this morning to see what this visitor had up his sleeve-less sleeves.  Not being familiar with this AO I thought I’d show up early which is a bit out of sorts for me. (I’m a tire-squealing late arriver usually).  So being the only one there at 0525 made me consider A – These guys are also late arrivers or B – I was in the wrong spot.  The other notion which would have fed my ego for sure would be that I scared them off with my reputation of delivering a merlot-spilling, hurt for 3 days style of beat down without breaking a sweat.  Reality snapped me out of the ‘dream about me’ state as 1 by one the PAX roll in.  Even a group of pre runners who were not only NOT phased by any reputation heard of me but knew they could log some extra miles prior to a Sugar beatdown and still run home!

Enough about me, here’s what went down at The Precinct this morning:

The Thang:

Disclaimer and mosey to the Prison yard the long way around for a little warm up:  SSH, Cotton Pickers, Temp Merkins, Mountain Climbers, Wind mills.

Mosey to the Tennis Courts:

At edge of the court – 10 Squats

Groucho walk across one court – 10 Hand release Merkins

Lunge Walk across next court and mosey around net to work your way back

10 Monkey Humpers at edge of court

Plank Walk across court – 10 Carolina Dry Docks

Bear Crawl across court – 10 Burpees

Repeato for 2 more rounds x15, x20.  (keep to 10 reps on burpees) – Plank/mosey around both courts when your done to  wait for the 6 after each round.

Mosey to the swings

Partner up.  P1 Swerkins while P2 runs perimeter of swing area – swap for a total of 200 reps

Mosey to the Prison Yard to kill some time.

Line up on one end, sprint to other end and back for 20 LBCs – repeato 4x

Mosey back to parking lot for Mary: Pretzel Stick, Dying Cockroach, Box cutters, Mason Twists and plank it out.

Naked Man Moleskin:
