Eighteen men showed up at Highland Creek Elementary School this morning for a very non-rainy beatdown. No Q? No problem. @Conchito eagerly stepped up to lead the PAX and we were off. Here’s how it all went down

WARMARAMA

• SSH IC X 19
• CP IC X 17
• IST IC X 15

THE THANG

• Run to the portable learning centers to retrieve cinder blocks
• Partner One does block curls while Partner Two runs the big loop. Switch places.

At this point three huge tour buses pulled into the parking lot, followed quickly by over 100 school kids and their parents. Apparently today is the day for the annual end of school bus trip. #Tclaps to the one mom who was so lazy that she drove her car directly up to the bus instead of walking 50 yards from the parking lot like the rest of the parents. #onlyinamerica. The beatdown was appropriately modified to accommodate the late arriving crowd and continued from there.

• Partner One does chest presses while Partner Two runs the small loop. Switch places.
• Partner One does sumo lifts while Partner Two runs the small loop. Switch places.
• Partner One does overhead presses while Partner Two runs the small loop. Switch places.
• Partner One does low flutter while Partner Two runs the small loop. Switch places.

There may have been one more set that I don’t remember. @Thorn took over the ‘Q’ from here.

• Partner One does one pull up while Partner Two does merkins. Switch places.
• Continue with 2,3,4, and then 5 pull ups for each partner.
• Partner One does six pull ups while Partner Two does jump squats. Switch places.
• Continue with 7,8,9, and then 10 pull ups for each partner.

Put the cinder blocks back under the portable learning centers

• Partner wheelbarrows to each of the four basketball goals, rotating after each goal
• Partner push challenge back to the first basketball goal, rotating after each goal
• Partner carry back to the edge of the parking lot, then mosey back to Marry
