An Achievement-laden Satisfaction Cruise

3 PAX took the DRP and entered the gloom for a Q-less Satisfaction Cruise.  Kilowatt rolled in for his virgin cruise (as he has been quite the regular lately – AYE!) talking video game speak about unlocking achievements and how he uses it to motivate himself to achieve more in the gloom.  Hey, pretty much any motivation is good motivation right?  Kilowatt is looking to unlock the 5 day in a row posting achievement, 3 down and 2 to go (that is HC for Thursday and Friday btw.)  With that we took off with no particular route in mind:

Headed down Greenway to end, ran virtually all of Ravenscroft and returned to the Greenway and headed back to the lot.  Route kind of looks like a ball in chain as Ravenscroft is weird street that almost wraps back into itself.  Statistically, it was about a 4.25 mile jaunt at a 9:45 pace.  Kilowatt commented that he had never run a 5K in under 30 minutes.  Well kid, you pretty much just did today – achievement unlocked!

COT: Continued prayers for Blair’s friend and Sugar’s friend.  Happy Hour for Harding tomorrow at 26 acres. Final Red Friday at RS this Friday, need Q.

Moleskin: Great job by Kilowatt posting regularly and hanging in there today.  Sugar is solid as always.  I think I have turned the corner on this running thing (hoping I am not jinxing myself into an injury.)  It has gotten way easier with less lbs on my frame and continued work in the gloom with the PAX.  I absolutely would not be in this position without support from all of my brothers.  Aye!

    That was the longest I’ve run without stopping (unless I was being chased)

    No man left behind Kilowatt! That’s how we roll! Good job by the way put an extra mile on the 3k mark! Next stop 5+!

    Personally I enjoyed the pace and the F2 and even the Rcroft hill!

    Gotta get more of our PAX out for the 5 in a row — or dare I tag it ‘The RS Nickel’!!

    Enjoyed the F2 as well this AM. Love the “RS Nickel”! I get through Friday, will be dropping the “RS Dime”!
