8 Men including FNG Blair took their DRP despite the 90% chance of rain.  Unfortunately, what we got was just a sprinkle for 45 minutes.  I think it was 45 minutes, YHC forgot my timepiece (burpee penalty enforced).  Anyway, I had planned (yeah, right) a bit of Parking Space Pain in which each PAX has a parking space and never leaves it for the entirety of the workout……….it needs a bit of work.

So…….0530 rolls around, we welcome FNG Blair, legit disclaimer given (with witnesses) and we were off for a Traditional Sugar on-the-fly beatdown!  Let’s mosey!

Warmarama:

SSH, Windmills, ISTs, Tempo Merkins, Mountain Climbers.  Mosey to the Greenway.

Tha Thang:

Partner up – final destination: the HH Hector Shelter.  You know, so I can keep the PAX dry!!!!  Toll of 5 hand release Merkins every time we cross a bridge.

Bridge 1 Grinder:  WWII sit ups to 50 combined – timer is a bridge run.

Indian Run to bridge 2 – 5 hand release Merkins.  Oh and incline/decline Merkin action while we have some rail.  Mosey to the HH Shelter.

Shelter Grinder: 50 LBCs, 100 Hand Release Merkins – Timer is run to the bridge and back.

Time ck – Burpee for YHC

Back across Bridge 2 – Toll paid for a bit of singles ladder work, 1 to 5,  on each end of bridge lunges/jump squats.

Indian run back to bench – Some LBCs Mosey back to WROPS for Mary, Toll respected on the way

TIme ck – Burpee, time for Mary

Pretzel crunches, Mason Twists, Freddy Mercury’s, Homer to Marge with some combo action.

Naked Man Moleskin:

Always a pleasure to lead the Stoners through the rain, hope you all enjoyed it.  Great to see 3 and Kilowatt back out on the regular and a big welcome to FNG Blair!  Keep posting, we do some really dumb stuff but always end up having fun!

Please remember to keep Blair’s close friend and his family in your prayers, My friend Terry as he recovers and all the families affected by the attack in Manchester England.  Also, lets remember to be thankful for our health, our families and one another.

    Thanks for the lead, Sugar, an on the fly Q works for me! Appreciate partnering up as well. Who needs rain to get wet when you have us down on the pavement for 1/2 the workout? I am sure Ty Webb appreciated it.

    Welcome back to 3, good to see a FNG, nice work Killowatt becoming a regular attendee, cool Panthers hat today for Sparky, and glad to see it looks like Heatstroke’s hammy ordeal is behind him.

    Excellent lead as usual, Sugar. Nice audible on the parking spot idea. Needed to explore the AO and get as wet as possible. Great partnering with Ty Webb. Thx for looking out Marie, the hammies are doing surprisingly well. Great to see FNG Blair, way to power through in less than ideal conditions. Looks like it will be plenty wet on Thursday too, should be a blast!!
