There were rocks
All All MECA BackblastsMay 13th, 2017
I told you there would be rocks…
On a brisk but thankfully dry Saturday morning, twenty PAX gathered in their usually way (except for three ruckers) at MCP for a beatdown that promised the utilization of igneous granite (or something?)
After a disclaimer and an acknowledgment that your OYO we mosey’d to warmup.
15 SSH, 15 Cotton Pickers, 15 Imperial Storm Troopers, Arms big, Arms small
Partner up. Mosey to the snack stands.
Partner 1 does People’s Chair with arm pumps while Partner 2 does a figure 8 of both buildings. Swap. Repeat x 3.
Do it again with the chair replaced by BTW.
Line up toward the hill at the bottom lot. Partner 1 does 15 Merkins while Partner 2 does lunges toward the hill. Partner 1 runs to Partner 2. Swap. Go all the way to the hill.
Two lines for reverse Native American Run to the fences. Switch to forward halfway.
Grab rail. 10 incline merkins. 15 Imperial Storm Troopers. 10 incline merkins. 10 windmills.
2 lines. Native American run to the rock farm. Everyone grab a rock you can hold for a long time.
Partner 1 does Iron Cross with both rocks held at 90 degrees (many PAX proved geometrically challenged here) while Partner 2 laps the lower lot. Switch upon return. If partner dropped then 10 penalty burpees… Which no one did. “Honor system.”
Mosey to the ballpark shelter. 10 legs up per leg. Partner 1 People’s Chair while Partner 2 does 10 wall jumps. Switch. X 3.
Mary. Pretzel crunch, low flutters, W, Stretches.
BOM.
Treat your Ms and Mom’s tomorrow. Call your Mom. She birthed you!
Happy Birthday to Chowder tomorrow as well.
Prayers for Ambassador and his family for the loss of his Mom recently. We love you bro.
Sound off in the comments! Was this beatdown hard or too easy?

Considering the geometrically challenged nature of the PAX, I would conclude it the workout was sufficiently difficult. Much respect to everyone who took a turn with a weighted pack!
Partner Merkins / Lunges through the parking lot was no joke. Reverse Native American run with weighted pack was even less of a joke. Analyzing other’s Windmills? Definitely joke-worthy. So yes, @Murdock, this beatdown was more than sufficient. My legs confirmed.
Be good, gentlemen.
