Strangest Morning To Date at MeCa’s Newest AO
All Comanche BackblastsApril 25th, 2017
Exactly one month ago YHC had the honor of attending the launch of Comanche, MeCa’s newest AO. Although that seems like forever ago…probably due to the most successful launch I’ve ever seen…I remember it being a strange morning. @Hammer kept talking about intimate settings for beatdowns, a reference was made about where @Forgotten Jelly’s finger has been… Anyway, YHC sought out to top that first workout just when the men of Comanche thought they were used to the inappropriateness that occurs in the gloom. Here’s what we did:
Mosey around the drop off loop
10 Air Presses IC (To get @Buckwheat started with the mumblechatter)
1 Burpee
15 SSH IC
2 Burpees
15 IST IC
3 Burpees
15 CP IC
4 Burpees
15 Windmills IC
5 Burpees
15 MC IC
6 Burpees
15 Pickle Pounders IC
7 Burpees (YHC believes @Buckwheat stopped talking here…)
15 monkey humpers IC
8 Burpees
15 air squats IC
9 Burpees
15 Peter Parkers IC
10 Burpees
10 Air Presses IC
YHC heard mumblechatter from the pax about this being “the longest warm up ever” and “boring!” and “it must be easy to do these things when you’re close to the ground and weight 130 lbs.”
Mosey to the bottom of the drop off loop
Partner Up

Run opposite ends when you meet the first time, do 10 squerkins each. Run again and when you meet do 10 monkey humpers each. Repeato x 2. Plank when done.

Plank walk to end of lot and back
Mary:
15 LBCs IC
Homer to Marge Medley with Low Dolly, Rosalitas, Low Flutter
10 Pretzel Crunches IC on each side
Moleskin:
12 men posted which made YHC’s OCD very happy (12 can be divided by 2,3,4,6…endless possibilities)!
The Comanche pax now know what pickle pounders, monkey humpers, and squerkins are which prompted the title of this BB. Feel free to practice at home (disclaimer!)
Where was @MrMcFeely who is supposed to be “hitting it hard” this week after a week of vacationing? YHC hears he doesn’t post in the rain…but I believe even FiA would have strong opinions about that!
For those that did post today, this was not an easy workout and you got through it…in the rain. T-claps! What we do will prepare you for anything by giving you a general level of overall fitness…if you put in the work.
Announcements:
4/29 Mint Hill Convergence at 0700. Coffeeteria to follow! Come meet your brothers from other AOs!
Shirt order should be coming in soon!

Sound off!
@thefarm, FIA called, they want their air presses back.
Other than that, solid beatdown, I hate 65 burpees.
@MrMcfeely, we missed you. Hardly any rain, we all survived. ;).
Hey, I knew it would get the mumblechatter started!
Great lead as always, @The Farm. I’m glad you introduced the #Comanche Pax to some new exercises, I think.?.?.? I’m not glad to hear that @Hammer was thinking about @Oboe’s pickle before the beatdown though!
@Robin’s Nest good partnering with you, big guy. Hope your calf is just strained and recovers quickly!
@The Farm: “YHC heard mumblechatter from the pax about this being “the longest warm up ever” and “boring!” and “it must be easy to do these things when you’re close to the ground and weight 130 lbs.”. Pretty sure these were all comments from ME, so I must’ve still been talking after the 7 burpee set ;-).
Strong showing today in nasty conditions. Keep it up, Pax. I see a lot of progress being made w/ @Jackpot @Robins Nest, @Sizzlean, @Ranger, & @Depth Charge. Keep up the hard work men!
Good to see @Ace Ventura back in the fold after a week of hampster searching.
Aye @Mr McFeely there was talk of a Pax coup and running to your house and waking you up. #Youwerespared by @The Farm’s 55 burpee warm-o-rama that took 45 minutes, or so it seemed…
@The Farm, I appreciated the extended Warmarama, not so keen on the running though as we covered over a mile and a half. Great job though, enjoyed the beatdown.
Wow, lot’s of love. Coming to my home would be dangerous outing if you are not driving your cars.
For this morning, it was a combination of feeling crappy this morning and seeing high percentage chances of rain until 10am predicted. Good thing is when I did wake up, the rain was gone, so the kids had a good start to the morning.
Thanks for the soggy beatdown @The Farm. Glad my travel schedule and guilt prevented me from fart sacking today. Also great to see my 4 neighbors from Herron’s Nest all still committed to F3!! Christenbury Wood was well represented today!!
As for @Hammer — keep me out of your dreams but in your heart!
