Broken Ankles, Reflections And Mand Down Nonsense

All All MECA Backblasts

January 31st, 2017 By Dingo

We had 10 men at The Precinct this morning.  Never at one time, and our numbers didn’t stay the same for more than 10 minutes, but there were 10 men.

5 of us, Buckwheat, Jelly, Grizzly, Toro & YHC, started with a 2 mile pre-run.  About 10 steps into the run, Buckwheat tripped on the flats piece of road I’ve ever seen.  He went down hard and his ankle has seen better days.  He walked it off and then continued to run with us.  I found out later his ankle is black and blue.  Tough work knocking out 2 miles on that bro!

Buckwheat and Jelly left us at this point. and we were joined by Dumbledore, Trail Mix(FNG), Man Down, The Closer and Flood Plain.

We started with a little mosey down Avon Farm Lane.  I don’t know why, but that hill just calls to me.  Trail Mix was terrified that were going to just run up and down it for 45 mins.  Not today, but that is an interesting idea…..

Over to the tennis Cts for;

Line up along the fence for reverse Indian Run, 2 times through.

6 x Burpees

Move up to field and Circle up

Jack Webb – 1 to 10

7 x Burpees

Line up for 6 x Sprints – The Closer takes the flag for the Precincts fastest man!

8 x Burpees

Jack Webb – 10 to 1

9 x Burpees

Back down to Tennis Cts – Dumbledore ran away at this point.

Reverse Indian run – 3 times through because Dumbledore left us

10 x Burpees

Another jog down Avon Farm Lane – Interestingly Floodplain left at this point, he also arrived after we ran Avon the first time……hmmm…….

Man Down’s speech made no sense at all running down and up Avon.

The Reflective Moleskin;

  1. Good work men!
  2. Always good to be at the Precinct.  Strange to be 39 years old and be one of the oldest there #young’ins
  3. Guns and Poker tomorrow night
  4. OCR training at Tradition on Thursday
  5. The Cruise tomorrow at the Valley!
