Step up at your own risk

All All MECA Backblasts

28 Highlands gloom warriors battled #Cantore and the #fartsack to enjoy a long absent Q from YHC. Lots of faces, new and old, went to work and walked away stronger. 0530 hit, the disclaimer was given while cars were still pulling in and off we go:

  1. It’s a pleasure to lead you fine gentlemen. Privileged for the opportunity. I’ve been really delinquent on the signupgenius but decided a couple weeks ago to just look for the next available bootcamp. Never regret doing that and encourage you to do the same
  2. Lots of clothing options out there today, ranging from @Conchito’s classic sherpa outfit to @Nanny’s sleeveless #gunshow ensemble and everything in between.
  3. Sounded like we may have never done step ups on the guardrail before??? Glad to #freeyourmind with that if in fact we haven’t.
  4. QOTD #1: @Chopper during the rail derkins: “At this point, I wouldn’t mind if a car came by and hit me…”
  5. QOTD #2: @Charmin at YHC for the ‘assault on the hip flexors’: “I’ll be cursing you from my desk today.”
  6. Thankful for this group and accountability to push myself. Especially when my partner @Derby was rocking the WV this morning and still out-repped me most of the time on the partner work.

  1. Almost forgot to mention that we had a couple impressive moustaches present #Movember. I can recall at least @Nip and @Bunny… maybe others. Thanks for adding some class to this motley group.

  2. Great, painful workout, Shazam. Hated every minute of it.

Chavez, how much risk did we all incur on those guardrail step-ups?

Unrelated: We’re hiring an accountant at our office. Please reach out to me if you know of any solid, trustworth, reliable people who love accounting like Diaster and I do. Thanks!

  3. Nice work today @Shazam, thanks for leading us. I enjoyed my first try at stump jumping although my stump appeared to get shorter and shorter each time over (that sounds dirty but it isn’t so stop laughing). And I don’t know about the rest of you but I ran up that stupid hill three times during the wall workout and I want full credit for it.

  4. Excellent lead @Shazam! Parker Peters, Peter Parkers and a guardrail step up? And @Gump wasn’t even around to appreciate your creatively in a non-themed beatdown. Always great to partner with @Chavez.

Thanks to @Chopper who assisted me with a ride as I locked my keys in the minivan of awesomeness in my haste to join the PAX. #fail
