CIRCLE BURPee

All All MECA Backblasts

October 27th, 2016 By Sparky

We had a great showing this morning thanks to Stoner regulars and strong support by some of Skywalker’s finest (Tugboat, Harding, Grinder, Genie, & FNG Del-now Stampede). A quick disclaimer was given and we headed off into the gloom.

  1. Have a nice weekend everyone, see you back in the gloom next week.

  2. Nicely done Sparky! For a second I was really scared you were gonna make us go to 15 on the Burpee Ladder. Not sure I would’ve made it, the offset merkins were taking a toll on me.

Not sure but I’m fairly certain it was the Skywalker guys how picked the ‘pebbles’ out of the rock pile?? We’ll be taking a ‘rock inventory’ and will have the pebble option eliminated for your next visit.

Great to see all of you, awesome way to start a day!

    1. Sounds like some stoners might be compensating for something…?

      1. We are…..no soccer arms.

  3. @Sparky, if one has to do 100 burpees, this is the way to do it.
@Sugar, I too thought we were headed for 15 rep burpee #shootMeNow.
@Waterboy, looking forward to Kettle Bells tomorrow.
@Genie, thanks for tip on healing the Achilles. Might need to look into the boot. I can see where that would interfere with doing burpees though.

  4. Don’t worry guys, I can’t memorize 15 different exercises much less do them. I can’t believe my Skybrook boys would be slacking like that, they must have known I was going to call for rotations.

  5. @Sparky – Props for a legit beatdown. I appreciated the focus on the upper body. 160 or so mericans and 100 burpees seems to get the job done! You did not disappoint sir. Is this a Sparky special? It seems like I remember seeing something of this sort on a back blast before.

-Welcome FNG Tom. Yeah, it’s usually this bad, but you won’t ever regret it.

@Heatstroke – Thanks for partnering and congrats on your 3rd F3 beatdown and 3 in a row!

@Sykwalker Grinder, Tugboat, Harding (who I think I called Haskell), Genie, and Stampede, Thanks for the visit. Come back soon and I can guarantee we’ll talk some more crap. It might be time for a mass visit of Stoners to Skywalker.

  6. Nice Q there, Sparky. Just shows us old guys can bring it. Any workout with multiple burpees will deliver.

Good to see the Sky Walker guys visit, and that was an honorable effort to try and keep up with the RS crowd. Maybe next time.

    So until next time…

  7. Sparknut, glad you were able to break a sweat. I’ve done this workout before at Skywalker. I stole it from Pony Boy with a few slight modifications.

MC, us old guys can hang with the best of them (usually).

    Have a good weekend!

  8. Great Q Sparky!

Always enjoy glooming at RS. Great PAX that u have there!

RS boys welcomed with open GUNS at Skywalker any time. But, be forewarned, that you will need soccer legs & wrestler arms to keep up! 😉

Praying for Genies Uncle(Robert) and the medical team involved in his surgery!

    4 HIS GLORY!!!
