On the Greenway

All All MECA Backblasts

September 6th, 2016 By Schnitzel

The air was cool(er) and the humidity down but I still managed to fog up my glasses – and that was during the SSH! 8 Stoners fought the sack and landed in the parking lot for a Schnitzel Q that went a little like this:

Always a pleasure, men. Good to have you all come out this morning. 3 years ago yesterday, Hammer coined the name Schnitzel, and so I borrowed a lot from that workout.

  • Milkbone’s brother Earl just had back surgery, so keep him in your prayers as he recovers.
  • Waterboy’s pastor/wife Emily had baby girl named Joy, prematurely. Prayer of thanks for new life and for healthy start to life together.
  • Pray for folks in Louisiana and cleanup efforts that are ongoing.

Aye!

  1. This Friday, 9/9 is Bell Buster at Christian Brothers – plus Rolling Stone turns 2. Come on out, if you haven’t been or don’t have a KB we’ll have an extra.
Also 9/16 is another bootcamp at grounds of Sirius, if you missed last time or want to give it another go, Haskell leading the charge there.

  2. Sorry I missed it – tapering….Never in my life did I think I’d miss getting up at 445 to go workout!

  3. Thanks for the lead, Schnitzel- the workout seemed to focus on the shoulders/deltoids today. FYI- I think the Ty Webb exercise was the Pickle Pounder…

The time on the greenway was a nice prelude to the Cruise tomorrow. 5:30 am, some running with pain stations to keep the PAX together.

    Until next time.

  4. Sounds terribly wonderful! Traveling early! Hey how did the shovel flag get there??

  5. @Whatley – we were wondering the same thing – how did you know the flag was there? Hmmmm.

  6. Thanks schnitzel! Till next time men

  7. Thanks to all the shoulder workout I couldn’t take any notes in classes today! Doesn’t matter though as it gave me a chance to catch up on the sleep I missed. I actually had a good time.
@MarieCalendar this morning was the first time I’ve made it through your Homer to Marge medley without having to rest, and that’s saying a lot.

I’ll be taking center stage for my 1-year F3 Birthday next Tuesday.
    Until then…
