20/40/60 or Chicken Foot
All All MECA BackblastsAugust 1st, 2016
10 of MeCa’s finest assembled into the humid and extra gloomy hills of Skywalker. The PAX were offered two options: 20/40/60 (Pullups, Merkins, LBCs) at Mettle or stay close to the AO for some Chicken Foot.
Route 1: Head out of the main entrance of Skybrook and don’t stop until you see some dudes in a parking lot swinging some kettle bells. Say a quick hello to the Mettle heads and continue on to the play ground for 20 Pull Ups, 40 Merkins, 60 LBCs. Turn around and head back to home base. Mileage= 4.2.
Route 2: Chicken Foot. Three PAX opted for this route.
Moleskin
- #Tclaps to @Disaster for knocking out his first Chicken Foot! He said he can’t wait to come back Friday and do it again…. or something like that.
- @GreenEgg was extra thankful at the end of the run. He murmured something about the Q understating the mileage for the day and seemed genuinely grateful for the extra effort he was able to put in this morning…. or something like that.
- @Google said he’s in full on BRR training mode and is hoping for a spot to open up… or something like that.
- F3 Field trip this weekend for some BRR training- Clown Car from Highlands at 0515. Run some big boy hills and get home ~0830
- Continue to keep @Phantom in your prayers as he home now recovering from his surgery last week.

Not sure what else happened out there but it was a great start to the week! Good job men!
Grinder, nice cruise this morning. It’s always nice to check out some new scenery. Roomer is, that Genie was so fast on the Chicken Foot that he was invisible!
No excuses, fartsacked from Golf and 5 days of beat down the week before. Vacation this week we’d so hope to see you in the gloom on Tues at highlands and Wed.
I have officially added Chicken Foot to the list of things that are WAY above my skill level, joining El Dorado, the Sharknado, and any beatdown where @Dingo is the ‘Q’. Thanks to @Bling and @Gordo for tolerating my lack of running ability this AM. Enjoyed the 2nd F. Looking forward to getting back to the lower elevations of the Highlands ASAP.
Is that a serious comment about @Google?
