25 PAX posted to ring in the 1 year mark at this fine AO. Some came for the bootcamp, some came for Chicken Foot Friday, but everyone put in a solid effort and are better for it. Here’s one version of what happened-

- Muscle ups x 10 and LBCs x 20, 3 sets.
- Plank when finished
- John Travolta x 5 each side
- *Cue terrible singing from the PAX*
Mosey down to the park, stopping along the way for a 20 merkin speed bump.
Grab some hill by the field
- 7 to 1
- Burpees at the bottom, Scorpion Dry Docks at the top
- Quadraphilia up the hill
- Crab walk down the hill
- Quadraphilia up the hill
- Burpees at the bottom, Scorpion Dry Docks at the top
Mosey to center field and partner up
- Round 1
- Hand Clap (pat-a-cake) Sit Ups at mid field
- Run to opposite goal lines for Hand Release Merkins
- 5, 10, 15, 20
- Round 2
- Hand Clap (pat-a-cake) Sit Ups at mid field
- Air Squats at side line

- After celebrating several PAX birthdays lately, it was nice to celebrate a (much) lower number of years. #1Burpee

Reflection
7/15/15, a bunch of dudes show up in a parking lot. Many of them strangers to one another, half asleep, and wondering what the heck Merkin was. Fast forward one year and you see those same dudes in the same parking lot. This time they are a tight knit, handsome, and chiseled group of men who encourage and help one help one another every chance they get. That’s the F3 effect.
This past year has been nothing short of amazing to me. I am so grateful for the men that show up day after day to run around on the same terrible hills. Thanks to you guys, I have a true feeling of community and brotherhood. Thank you making this AO what it is today and keeping me in check if I ever arrive 15 seconds late!

Congratulations @Grinder and the pax of Skywalker! I remember the first beatdown and how many new pax showed up. Good to see so many of them still regularly posting!
Several “questionable” exercises apparently have sprouted from this AO as well as #chickenfoot! Can’t wait to see what happens in year 2.

Skywalker has quickly earnt a reputation as a tough AO! Those damn hills have helped with that! As well as the infamous Chickenfoot!
