The Muthatrucka Visits Highlands
All All MECA BackblastsJune 23rd, 2016
28 pax descended upon the Highlands AO for a guest Q and a beatdown a little different from the norm at this AO. Three pax heard the word Muthatrucka and opted for #BRR training instead. Not calling anyone out, but @BOS, @Avalanche, and @El Guapo may have been the three culprits. YHC is part of the Tradition BRR team, but as a driver and back up runner. I figured a several drivers would be needed for all the Highlands #BRR teams, so we gave several pax an opportunity to showcase their driving skills today.
Here’s how things went down. Quick disclaimer given. Mosey to basketball courts for warm-o-rama.

Let’s get to it.
The Thang:
Count off by five. There were five teams of five and five stations set up around the court. Explanations and demos given at each station.
1) AMRAP Sledge Hammer Slams and Cinderblock Squats (alternating exercises whenever you want).
2) AMRAP Tire Flips
3) Battle Ropes and Cinderblock Burpees (alternating exercises whenever you want).
4) Russians with Sandbags & Kettle Bell Swings (alternating exercises whenever you want).
5) The Muthatrucka: Push Dingo’s 10,000 pound rig up a slight incline and the length of four basketball courts. Four people pushing and one luck pax member gets to drive/steer while keeping it in neutral. The truck serves as the timer for all stations. Once it reaches it’s final destination, each group rotates to the next station. Get through as many stations as possible in 35 minutes.
Someone on my team couldn’t remember their number as we needed up with six pushing the truck the first time and another group had four. Since Google was the driver that round, he was jettisoned to the team with four to even things out. Thanks for being a good sport, Google.
One team in particular decided to stop the truck short of it’s final destination and heard it from the Pax.
Sweaty Moleskin:
1) Thanks for the opportunity to lead this morning, men. This was a Dingo/Coyote creation last Spring at Tradition and has been such a hit, we decided to take it on the road to other AO’s. A little different from the norm. Hope you enjoyed it!
2) Dingo- Thanks for meeting up early and helping me load up your truck with goodies. Thanks also for allowing a bunch of sweaty men drive your rig.
3) Highlands Pax are better drivers than Dawg House Pax. People were running up on curbs and all sorts of stuff there…
4) Quiet group today. I was expecting some mumble chatter, but with no Chowder, Gump, or our Nantan present, I guess we were spared.
5) Missing one pax member on the list. Sound off below if you know who I missed an I will add that person to the list.
6) Team 5’s were killing it today. It was a pleasure working beside you men.

Let’s hear it!
Nice lead @Buckwheat. I am completely spent. I’m sure my back is going to be feeling those tire flips later today as usual.
@Hammer is your missing PAX member. I once again tried to unsuccessfully steal his car after today’s beatdown. There are way too many black Honda Accords at this AO.
You also missed @Eggnog but you counted @Chopper twice. @Chopper talks enough for two people so the mistake is understandable.
Aye, thanks Disaster. How could I forget @Hammer??? He EH’d me AND was in my group of five today. UGH. My bad, @Hammer!
Pax roster updated accordingly. LOL on Chopper talking enough for two. Couldn’t hear him across the parking lot today. He must’ve been tired…
Nice job @Buckwheat & @Dingo! This workout is a killer, and my legs/back are going to be feeling it today!
@Pavarotti, @Brooklyn Decker, @Ranger, @Stoli – good pushing with you guys today!
