You’ll Sweat Your Eye Out
All All MECA BackblastsJune 15th, 2016
9 Dawgs rolled into the sea of yellow and started sweating the moment they stepped out of the car, or at least YHC did. Some looked a little misty eyed as we went along, but I was later informed that it was just sweat pouring out. We embraced the humidity, even though a few of us have now resolved to not complain about the cold of winter. The sweaty beatdown looked a little like this:
#Disclaimer
Mosey to the stadium entrance and circle up
SSH x12 IC
Merkins x10 IC
Windmill x10 IC
Walk to the gate, only to realize it has been locked (looks like it is locked for the summer, so do some Recon if you want to use the track)
Look over there, football left the big gate open, all is not lost
Mosey to the side gate, down the stadium and out onto the track
Split into teams of 3 (size and speed don’t matter)
For Set 1 – P1 would set off with running, P2 behind him with Lunges and P3 bringing up the rear with Dragon Walks. When P1 runs a lap around the track to catch P3, he takes over Dragon Walks, P3 runs to P2 and takes over Lunges and P2 takes off running catches P1 and takes over Dragon Walks, and the cycle continues. The set is complete when the last exercise, in this case Dragon Walks, reaches the other end of the track.
2 sets (P1/P2/P3)
Set 1: Run, Lunge Walk, Dragon Walk
Set 2: Run, Bear Crawl, Burpee Broad Jumps
Mosey out of what we tried to turn into a water bowl filled with sweat #NoBreezeInTheBowl
Up the stairs to the press box
People’s Chair w/Air Presses (was supposed to be a minute, but we struggle on counting, so we’ll go until I’m tired of air presses or the count clears up)
Donkey Kicks x10 OYO
People’s Chair x 1 Minute
Mosey back to the stadium Entrance
Mary
LBC x20 IC
Pretzel Crunch x15 IC Each Side
Freddie Mercury x15 w/ Sing Along if you know the words
Homer to Marge (Pharaoh)
Crunchy Frog (Tabasco)
Supermans
Plank
Mosey around the parking lot and back to the cars

Sweaty, Sweaty Moleskin
1. Welcome to the Dawg House Tabasco (#Kotters) and Birdcage. We hope you guys continue to join us out there.
2. We learned that Pharoah is a beast on the Burpee Broad Jumps, those were supposed to be the timer for that workout, but he was going faster on that than I was on the bear crawl.
3. I had a 3rd round set, but I may have to choose a different location if I bring this one back out again, a lap around the track turned out to be a lot longer than I had thought.
4. Some good mumblechatter this morning, glad to see us starting to have some fun and joke around, keep it up, it makes it enjoyable for the workouts that suck.
5. Hydrate, Hydrate, HYDRATE! As the summer months go on, and the mornings are warm and humid, you’re going to want to make sure to hydrate before, after and sometimes even during the workouts. We don’t want any one passing out or making a mess #SpilledMerlot.
Announcements:
1. F3 night at the Intimidators game is 7/13. Should be lots of fun. Don’t miss out, get you and your family signed up asap (see details here. I’ll be doing this today.
2. F3 Dads Workout on 7/16 at Stallings Rd Park. DT and Clueless are taking the lead on this, please see one of them if you would like to help out with the workout or with the pancake breakfast afterward.
3. White Lightning on Mondays at the Speedway. If you aren’t anywhere else on Monday mornings, we better see you out there. We’re looking to take it on as our Monday place to be.
4. Quick note on parking during the summer. Since the buses have taken over our normal parking area, start parking up by the track until school kicks back up and kicks us out.
As always, it was an honor to lead you men.

Thanks for coming out men. Glad to see some good steady numbers, don’t forget to EH your friends, neighbors and colleagues. They need F3, they just don’t know it yet. As always, it was an honor to lead!
@Honey-do – solid workout that crushed the legs! Looks like this week is gonna be brutal from Terrible Towel to Honey-do to Kojak!
I seriously never want to be on that track again.
I’m thinking the same thing, at least for a few weeks
Got a few of us from Highlands / Tradition going to drop in and enjoy the gloom with you guys on Friday morning.
