Just a Tad Humid
All All MECA BackblastsJune 7th, 2016
20 men (technically 19 men and one teenager) avoided the fartsack to get stronger this hot and humid morning. After a brief disclosure and short mosey, we set and accomplished the following
Warm-o-rama
SSH x 20
IST x 15
Windmill x 10
Da Thang!
Groups of 3 people. 1 person flips a tire while the other two do AMRAP curls and shoulder press with the cinderblocks. Switch out as needed until you get to the far corner of the church.
5 Burpees OYO
Indian Run to business park
5 Burpees OYO
Ran around the building and upon entering the corridor, 10 muscle ups followed by 20 dips and then 10 muscle ups to exit
Repeato but do 30 air squats instead of dips
5 Burpees OYO (because Funky looked like he really wanted to do more)
Indian Run back to church w/ a pit stop to do 10 burpees OYO at day care
Have to put away those tires and cinder blocks – so what better way to do it than to flip them back in the same way that they got there.
5 Burpees OYO
Had a little time do some sprints so Jumanji could show off his speed.
Mary
Circle Merkins (epic fail by the Q to appropriately describe the exercise)
Jelly’s Homer to Marge Medley
Low Flutter x 20
Moleskin
- F3 Dads at Tradition this Saturday (June 11) at 7 am.
- Good work by all this morning. Thank you for the opportunity to lead this morning. My voice may not be as loud as others but hopefully everyone enjoyed the workout.
- I believe a congrats is in order to Astro Van and his M on the birth of another 2.0. May be time to start looking at trading in a van for a bus.

After a week at the beach with family and eating more than I should have, it felt great to be out there this morning despite the humidity. Hope everyone enjoyed the workout.
Sound off below.
Technically I think there were 2 teenagers. I would call all hate-hates teenagers, since eighteen and nineteen, are still ‘teens’ :-). But at 13, Stopper did great… looked like he didn’t want to stop flipping that tire!
oops… i meant the ‘hate-hate-hate’s being the teenagers.
Great Q Blinddate! Good mix of exercises and running. I was done at the end of that!
Awesome to see 20 guys out at Tradition. Lots of new guys and plenty of mumble chatter.
I may or may not have been responsible for some of the mumble chatter…….but I sure did have some fun this morning 😉
Was definitely fun!
@blind date – great work out – creative variety of exercises! Good withstanding of mumble chatter and staying on task. I think I heard the young teens say something like “wow.. there is a lot of talking today” as they laughed.
Great job @mcfeeley in bringing your team to Tradition. Good to see the Young’ns out of bed at 5:00 am! Make use of their summer vacation. Nice job.
