Deja Vu with a Merkin twist
All All MECA BackblastsMay 18th, 2016
7 Pax (1 FNG) weren’t scared off by the gloomy skies this morning and posted to see what was in store for them this morning. The watch read 5:30, the Pax were stretched and so off we set. Short mosey to the track entrance and circle up (stayed close just in case some of the regulars that weren’t there on time decided to roll in before we disappear). Everyone was really quiet this morning, so we must still be waking up.
#Disclaimer followed by an alarm clock going off (time to wake up)

Mosey down the path to the visitor side of the track. Instructions given about how we were going to proceed and off we set. A few guys from the cruise yesterday mentioned some Deja Vu, I hope we quickly rid that from your mind as we start the Merkin Mile. The plan was to run a lap with 4 stops at each corner of the track and perform the set exercise.
1st Quarter – 10 Merkins at each corner
2nd Quarter – 10 Diamond Merkins at each corner
Halftime – 10 x WWII Sit ups, 20 x LBC IC
3rd Quarter – 10 Wide Merkins at each corner
4th Quarter – 10 Merkins at each corner
Overtime – 15 x Pretzel Crunch IC Each Leg
Short mosey to the visitor concession stand
– Lunge walk from the concession stand to the storage building (audible due to depth perception being terrible and jog half)
– Bear Crawl from storage building to scoreboard (option to finish your lunge walks)
– Jog to the top of the hill
Mosey to the tennis courts for 11’s
Run to the other end of the courts for 10 Air Squats, run back for 1 Carolina Dry Dock
Repeat for 9 Air Squats/2 CDDs
Repeat for 8 Air Squats/3 CDDs
And so on and so forth to 1 Air Squat/10 CDDs
Mosey to Mary
The W x15 IC
Low Dolly x15 IC

Pretzel Stick x10 IC Each Side

1. Thanks for coming out this morning and putting in some work, you guys were busting tail this morning. It was an honor to lead you.
2. For those keeping count, we did 160 Merkins in the Merkin Mile, I hope that your chest and shoulders are feeling it.
3. Fernando was killing it, I hope Spackle can get him out there again. Big Blue and 4-Wide were right up there too, good job guys.
