Blankity Blank Golf Course Run
After waiting patiently yet unsuccessfully for The Farm to show for the much coveted golf course run, 8 Pax set out for this week’s version of Skywalker’s running bootcamp. It went something like this:
Mosey to the street above the first hole, do 10 burpees and 15 WWII situps.
Proceed to run the first 9 holes, stopping at the even numbered holes (2, 4, 6, 8) to do 10 burpees and 15 WWII per stop. Plank (or not, mostly not) until all Pax finish at the even numbered holes.
Run to Mary.
Arrive at Mary to do another 10 burpees and 15 WWII situps. Then LBC’s, and people’s Mary (pretzel crunch- Dodger; low dolly- Sparky; often neglected stretching- Man Down). Finish with 10 burpees and 15 WWII situps.
Nice work men. Ran just short of 3 miles, and did 70 burpees and 105 WWII situps. Sorry we finished up a little early; promise that won’t happen again. Hopefully we left something in the tank for touchdown beatdown tomorrow.
Prayers for Olive and Wild Turkey and their families, and those struggling through tragic and difficult times. We are blessed in so many ways and let us not take these gifts for granted.
