All All MECA BackblastsApril 20th, 2016
9 of MeCa’s baddest took their DRP at Skywalker. YHC came screeching in the parking lot with 15 seconds to spare (held up in traffic) and was greeted by an eager pax. No Q on the books so @Glock stepped up to get things started.
Mosey up to middle parking lot for the usual warm up routine
SSH, ISW (fast!), Windmill, Merkins
Partner up for wheel barrows and partner carries separated by some merkins and Air squats – 3 sets
Mosey around parking lot and up to the stairs. Reverse Spiderman up, 15 WW1 WW2 situps at the bottoms. – 3 sets
Good job @Glock,
Moleskin
1) Tclaps to @Glock for knocking out what seemed to be a bunch of burpees while being the odd man out during the partner work.
2) If you guys aren’t familiar with MXC (Most Extreme Elimination Challenge), I HIGHLY recommend dedicating a few minutes to some youtube videos like this one. It’s both hilarious and painful!
3) @McFeely & @DrSeuss – way to keep pushing today! I think we need to take offerings to buy @Seuss a new alarm clock after his 4 farsacks in a row! Glad you joined us today brothers!
4) Thanks to those of you who signed up to Q today! So many guys here are ready to Q and just don’t know it. You do not have to be in navy seal shape to lead. Browse other backblasts and just steal a workout if you’re unsure of what to do. It will be energizing and rewarding but you have to take that first step!
5) It looks like @Granite and @Dirty are becoming official regulars! Awesome to see you guys coming back even after what I put you through on Monday. Looking forward to @Dirty’s VQ coming up on 5/11!
6) *WARRIOR WORKOUT* May 7th, 8:30 – 11am at Burn Bootcamp. $21 includes admission, shirt, towel, and lunch at Pippas. All proceeds will benefit the Prayers for Elijah Foundation. This should be a great community event supporting a worthy cause. Please consider attending and bring the family!

Good workout today! That BB looks like a short workout :-), forgot 2 sections:
Peoples chair and air press
10 ‘Jump Ups’ at the wall then run down to the road and do 30 LBCs. Repeato 3x (I did 2 1/2)
Run along a very wide road to front of AO, then do 20 Dips and 20 Derkins. Repeat 1x
Run back to parking lot for Mary.
Was one of the Mary exercises called the Prostate Exam crunch?
As for Qing… let me get a few more months (June/July?) and then I think I will be ready. I don’t want to be the Q and the Six at the same time :-).
Ah yes, the Prostate Exam Crunch… how could I forget to include that?! Got ahead of myself with this BB… #QFail. But on the bright side, you have now written your first BB!
It is possible to Q and not even have a six. Deck of Death (see the #exicon if you’ve never done one) then call for a people’s mary at the end. It will fill the allotted time and the only thing you will really have to lead and call cadence for is the warmup. Easy peasy. I’ve even got a deck I can loan ya. Just sayin…
