Tires and Super 21
All All MECA BackblastsApril 19th, 2016
12 men came together today to test ourselves. Originally Coyote was supposed to take the helm, but he contacted YHC last night to see if I could take over for him. I hope the workout didn’t disappoint.
Warm-Up
– Mosey around the parking lot into the next section (funky found uneven ground – glad I said the disclaimer first)
– SSH x 10
– Cotton pickers x 10
– IST x 10
The Thang
– two lines for an indian run around the church and back to the tires
– Circle up for the start of Super 21 (1 merkin, 1 LBC, 2 merkins, 2 LBCs…21 merkins, 21 LBCs)
– Got up to 7 merkins, 7 LBCs
– Partner up and grab a tire and cinder block for each pair
– 1 partner does tire carry to the island and back, 1 does curls (switch)
– We switched back and forth between Super 21 and the tire carry/curls. At one point, Chicken Strip asked if we could do tire flips instead of tire carries because he thought they would be easier. I thought, why not. So we did that.
– Put away tires and CBs
– Indian run back through new section of parking lot and over to the cars for some quick mary
Mary
– Squirm x 15
– Pretzel crunch x 10 (flapjack)
Moleskin
– Great push by everyone this morning. I hope it was tough.
– The Super 21 is starting to become one of my favorite exercises. The goal is to do it straight through with the breathers being squats. We will get there.
– If you did all the merkins and LBCs during the Super 21, you did 231 of each this morning, all before 6:15.
– Big shout out goes to @Bazinga today. For the first few tire carries he didn’t carry the tire all the way to the island. The last two he did. Way to go brother. It’s the only way you will get stronger. Tire carries are tough and you did it. Nice work.

Nice job this morning. sound off below.
Good job Jelly, especially given the short notice.
@Bazinga – strong work, brother. Keep pushing. You will continue to get stronger.
@Chicken Strip – great to see you out there
Killer workout @jelly. I was exhausted after. Sore wrists today. You threw in an airborne minder in there somewhere in the middle and that was appreciated! I used to hate the tires – but am getting better with the flips and carries. Now I only intensely dislike them.
Good lead Jelly!! I didn’t complete all the Merkins, gives me something to strive for.
Great partnering with you Bazinga, keep posting – hard work will pay off!!
