Muthaship Backblast – 4/11

19 PAX put in a hearty deposit this morning. The Muthaship was her normal self, heartless, cold, unrelenting. Here’s what we did:

Partner up – size/speed matter

Run to the Ship and take the dizzy to the top. When you get there:

-5 burpees, 10 dumbocrats (no flapjacking on 1st trip up), 50 Freddy Mercuries (Left/Right = 1)

Head down the Ship and over to the stairwell. Partner carry to the top, switching as needed.

-5 burpees, 10 dumbocrats (other guy), 50 Freddy Mercuries (Left/Right = 1)

Head back down the stairs. That’s 1 round. Repeat until 6:08.

NM:

-The partner carries were crushing (for me). Swamp/Cindy took the VT with Gandalf and Bunny on their heels. T-Claps to a spattering of PAX from across the area showing up. Hillary AKA #SugeHill thought these were groupies. He recommended limo-tinting my windows which has worked for him. I’ll say this is the price of fame and I can’t seem to shake a group of 10-12 wherever I Q, #false. Regardless, enjoyed the company.

    Close. bunny/Gandalf took the VT with Cindy/SFox on their heels. There was a very important lead change about 42 minutes into the workout. bunny finished a few seconds late because he got called for stair-cleaning duty. #technicality.

    Was good to come down to the big city and be reminded just how far I have to go in my fitness. Humbling…..simply humbling……

    You guys are machines! At first I thought you were joking about the partner carries up the stairs……nope.

    Great to see Icicle and Mario! Mario you have gotten faster??!! how is that possible??

    Just realized … Gandalf, Frodo, and JRR Tolkien all together at the same time.

    Nice workout plan Swiper, and great effort Federalist, especially on the partner carries.
