A Trip to Rolling Stone
All All MECA BackblastsMarch 15th, 2016
YHC traveled to Rolling Stone for my first Q at this great AO. 14 other men joined me for what I hope was a challenging beatdown.
Warm-Up
– Mosey to upper parking lot
– IST x 15
– Mountain climbers x 15
– Cotton Picker x 12
– Windmill x 12
At this point I heard some mumblechatter about my counting. But I also noticed that my brothers from Rolling Stone like to clap after each rep of the cotton picker, although not in unison.
The Thang
– Super 21 (1 merkin, 1 LBC,…21 merkins, 21 LBCs)
– Broke this up with squats in a few places to give us a quick break
– mosey to back of school
– quick set of 20 dips on picnic table
– mosey to playground
– 10 pullups
– 20 dips
Three total rounds
– mosey to basketball court
– bear crawl half way, crab walk half way
– mosey to cars
– partner push
– partner pull
Mary
– squirm (in honor of Pharaoh starting the new AO tomorrow)
– Mason twist (per Nanny)
– Pretzel crunch
Moleskin
– Nice push by all this morning. Thanks for letting me come out to Rolling Stone. I’ve been here a few times, but never as Q. I look forward to doing it again when I can jump. Lots of possibilities.
– Welcome to FNG Hunter. Glad you made this choice to join F3.
– In case you were curious, we did 231 merkins and 231 LBCs in the first exercise. The goal is to do that with merkins and WWII situps.
– Don’t forget to help out our brother Pharaoh with the Dawg House. Go here for more info.

Nice job today, Forgotten Jelly. 231 merkins/LBC’s- kind of sneaks up on you, right? And the RS clapping is always a crowd favorite…
Until next time.
Nicely done. Bear crawls always a crowd pleaser. Can’t have too many Merlin’s either…
