YHC was a little surprised with the posted numbers this morning but all pax in attendance gave supreme effort in smoking the Q. He thought maybe the rest shied away from his forecast of partner carries based on past injuries memories, till he learned that many usual pax were attending the first ever @f3boondocks Murph. Everyone else has their reasons. AYE, You were missed!
Today’s workout was a practice in partner work based in Gen2:18 “It is not good for the man to be alone;” Ecc4:9 “Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up;” and Ecc4:12 “a cord of 3 is not easily broken.” As well as a reminder of the value of good hard work from Colossians 3:23 “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart as working for the Lord, not for men.”
Here are a few things YHC noticed as we worked out these principles:
- As soon as YHC mentioned partner carries Webelo moved from beside Capri to beside Swiss Miss
- Capri was enjoying the chair carry a little too much, something about wanting palm fronds and liking the starry sky
- Someone had an awesome idea to play disc golf at night (evidenced by the glowsticks on each of the chains)
- TCLAPS to Swiss Miss for the Q-Jack during the Suicidal Dora (he brought an awesome solution for the 3-man team)
TCLAPS to each of the pax for following YHC on this exercise in honor and hard work. His church (Forest Hill Church) just completed a sermon series on the lost art of Honor and this was an awesome opportunity to share some of what he learned with his brothers in the Gloom.

Sorry I missed it this AM guys. I hurt my back yesterday and now that I see partner carries were on tap – am SO GLAD I shied away. See ya’ll Friday. Greetings from Richmond!
Sorry to hear about your back. Heal up. Let me know if you need any help on Friday.
Fingers crossed for Friday (I’m thinking positively), but thank you for the offer.
