12 men showed at Tradition today.  I wasn’t 100% sure what we would be doing…..I had a weinke in my truck, but as I read over it one last time in my truck, I decided I didn’t want to do that workout, I tossed the weinke on the floor and jumped out, excited to see what my brain could come up with!

There is a curl/squat challenge going on.  No curls today, its an off day!  Squats it is!!  You gotta rest those muscles to see GAINS!!

Mosey down to the “regular” daycare(that is NOT the haunted one).  I could not hear it, but I know that Ghetto D and Dutch were already cursing my name for a longer than usual mosey……

  1. Great beatdown Dingo. Way to forget Blind Date in the PAX list up top. Fuzzy math again, 10 names + 1 QIC = 12? It was 12 including Blind Date….Anyway, thanks for the beatdown.

@Ribshack, you’re getting faster and faster, thanks for pushing me this morning. You may not know it but my goal was either beat you and keep up with you and I succeeded.

    1. Thanks!

What do you mean about blind date?? 😉

      1. I thought he was an FNG rolling up in the Jeep. Hadn’t seen his new ride.

    2. Funny- I was thinking the same thing. That & don’t let Blind Date down when we were partnered up. ISI!!!!

      1. I dunno how I forgot him, I was talking to him in that last circuit!

  2. Nice job @dingo, creative, we ran 3 miles, needed that, included all. Plus I got in 180 squats – nice for the challenge. I won’t dare speculate on what the temperature was – learning to stay away from controversial topics like that! However – I will say whatever the temperature was – it was an excellent workout!

    1. Good job not to excogitate too much about the temperature. One thing we do know is that without Coyote & his feelings being there it was NOT 14!!

      1. I don’t know what excogitate means??

        1. I didn’t either until I looked it up!! {def: to think about seriously}

    2. 3 miles??!! Are you sure?

  3. @Dingo- thanks for the lead. I (dis?)liked the columns & the figure eight circuit. Not bad if that was off the cuff.

    1. It was off the cuff, but I have lead so many beatdowns at Tradition, that it was just a variation on a previous beatdown

  4. Yes – although you did not hear it ( since we were 6ing it) with your cute little short mosey…. you know us respects we don’t like surprises… like long mosey’s – I was closer to my house than the AO this morning #tempingtogohomeandwarmupthe m
but how could I miss the “squats suck challenge”.
Discipline and dedication won out this morning- but there’s always next time!
good to see Bazinga out w/ the Pax – keep posting brother!

    1. Im guessing the M was glad you didn’t go and warm her up also!

  5. Great workout @dingo. I know what it’s like to have your weinke on the floor. Mine is always to the floor….guess I was born that way.

At least for a day, everyone who showed this morning did the squats challenge. I know my hamstrings were screaming toward the end of that workout.

@Griz – I have no idea how you are able to get so low on your squats. Props (#tclaps) to you brother. If I went that low, it wouldn’t be on purpose and I sure would have trouble coming back up #badknees.

#RibShack – thanks for partnering up. You were really flying through those sprints!

    1. hahahaha!!

  6. 3 miles was per Buckwheats’ fit bit… Buckwheat – please confirm. Thought that was a little high myself. He also said we did 6,000 plus steps. Interesting.

  7. Sorry guys, a little late to the back blast party. Had a crazy day yesterday at work….

Dingo- I was right there with Dutch cursing you during that long mosey and throughout the beat down. My legs felt like Jell-O at the end of it! I counted 220 squats for me, but they were definitely not grizzly squats. My knees will not allow me to get that low.

My fit bit is not one of the GPS ones, but it did say 3.14 miles at the end of the beatdown. Considering down and back to the shopping center is about a mile and we ran the length of both that parking lot and the day care lot several times, it’s probably pretty close.

Dutch- Hope you were able to warm up the M after the beatdown.

Mutant- It’s great to see you posting four days in a row in your first week of F3. Strong effort during our partner work. Great job!
