Moleskin:

I wanted to get a good chest workout in today where we go to failure.  Mission Accomplished.  Was thinking we might do four sets but after 3 I was done and it was time to move to the next exercise.

Sprints got the heart rate up for our progressions.  I was breathing hard.  Hopefully you were as well.

Heard Gump saying during the neck exercises that if we continue to do this exercise we will look like Luke Kuechly.  I have been wanting a name for it and Gump gave it to me.  For now on that workout will be known as the Kuechly.

Should be give praise to Nanny for showing up 15 minutes late or should be give him grief for being 15 minutes late?

I do not know if you are getting a good stretch out of the pigeon but you have to admit the entertainment value is high.  Hammer is priceless and I enjoyed watching some of the young guys struggling a bit with it.  Stoli and Colonel Mustard we are looking at you.

7 Comments on “Chest Day”

  1. Was thinking when i signed up to Q that it would be colder and it would be time to bring back the Ronda Rousey workout. However with it being 50 degrees and us wearing shorts it would not have been appropriate. Next time.

  2. Highlight of the workout was when Chopper and I were beside Bling and Conchito while completing suspended merkins on the bike racks. Conchito was holding Bling’s legs and then I heard the comment from Conchito, “You must be a runner”. I am pretty sure he wasn’t talking about his legs, more about the #soccerarms. Conchito wasn’t even his partner I don’t think, he was just filling in.

Good times this morning, lots of laughs which made the workout go by quickly.

-BootCamp at #Skywalker tomorrow for @Harding beatdown as we celebrates 40
-Cruise at #Highlands tomorrow, I am sure @Nanny is Qing once again
-Other close workouts at #Tradition, #Concord and #Harrisburg

  3. I was feeling bad about showing up 5 minutes late until @TheNanny rolled up at 5:45a! #DontHateOnTheLate

And @Charmin, I don’t understand why you slap the ground when you transition to LBCs on the progressions. Can you explain? I keep thinking I’m missing some secret technique thing.

    1. It’s the drama that comes with the workout. It’s all about the slap brother!

    2. @Alcatraz. In wrestling and Martial Arts you are taught to slap out of a fall. Prevents wrist, elbow and shoulder injuries. Allows you to hit the ground hard after being thrown without ending up like Tony Romo.

  4. Great workout @charmin, I’ve always hated the progressions! Love the pain though.

Great to partner with Million $ Man (what happened to the other Six?) and Slappy. #strong.

Way to Go FNG’s, be sure to come back out. Rumor is FNG Tobi will cruise with Nanny in the gloom.

@Charmin, speaking of Tony Romo, the Cowboys could use some help…You in?

  5. Definitely feeling “chest day” right about now, ouch!

T-Claps to FNG Curtis for posting! We hit him with a multi angle EH involving at least 4 different people. The fartsack didn’t stand a chance for him this morning.
