10 #Tradition men made themselves better today by accepting the challenge of the #Horseshoe.  YHC was asked to step in and Q and its just what was needed to get me back on my feet after 5 days of crud/cold/flu fartsacking.  I couldn’t do a lot of talking so I went to one of my favorite WIBs (workout in a bag).

Today’s Horseshoe:

Run a ¼ mile lap around AO (and then 1 lap after every workout stop)

The Naked Man Moleskin:

1. Nice push out there today men!  It was less 2nd F than I normally like at my Qs, but it was what I needed to get back in the game. Truly a you vs. you day regarding how hard you pushed yourself.
2. T-Claps to @Forgotten Jelly and @AJAX for keeping me going down the stretch. This workout is perfect training for @AJAX and the Spartan Beast + Spartan Sprint that he will be tackling this weekend!  Good luck brother!
3. Even though the lead group didn’t finish our last 1/4 mile after the final burpees, my GPS still had us at 2.5 miles completed for the morning.  I guess those laps were slightly more than 0.25 miles #0.27777777777777778tobeexact
4. Happy Birthday Marines!  240 year birthday for the United States Marine Corps today!  Semper Fidelis my brothers @Gazebo, @Gump, @MajorPain #jarheads
5. As we celebrate Veteran’s Day tomorrow please keep our current veterans who are away from family this holiday season in your prayers, as well as those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. Remember that every veteran when they voluntarily joined the military signed a blank check to the United States for the amount of “as much as my life.”
6. We are all soldiers for God, here is the St Michael prayer from this morning: Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.  May God rebuke him, we humbly pray: and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the divine power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls.  Amen.
