It was simply wet……
All All MECA BackblastsNovember 7th, 2015
8 men posted for a really, really wet beatdown! We are kinda getting used to working out in the rain, but I look forward to a dry beatdown some time soon. Yesterday Jelly and I noticed that no one was signed up to Q at Davis Lake. So he talked me into Co-Q’ing with him……..So I was up all night prepping my 30 minutes of the beatdown so that guys would be pushed to their limits! Jelly did not. Nuff said.
Dingo 10 mins – Warm up 1 mile mosey down to my favorite rd, Merlot Ln! With some pain stations along the way.
Jell 10 mins – We mosey’d for a bit, did a couple of merkins, moseyed, couple merkins, moseyed, BURPEES,…….nuff said

The completely saturated moleskin;
- Tough morning to post, but glad we all made the right decision!
- The rain does crazy things to us. Lots of inappropriate comments, that I can’t remember right now. But I wasn’t allowed to used any of them for the back blast title…….
- Great to meet @beetlejuice! It won’t get easier, but you will get stronger!!
- It needs to be mentioned that Tradition FAR outnumbered Davis Lake Pax this morning!
- Good 2ndF at the Coffee hour! A Chick-Fil-A employee said “You guys running in the rain””Yep, you want to join us?””No thanks, but I’ll come and watch!”

1) As someone said the other morning, 10% of Tradition is like…50 men.
2) I am glad you didn’t use some of the more inappropriate titles that you mentioned at the beatdown.
3) I felt like we should’ve been wearing Richard Simmons shorts and leg warmers for those squat high fives. Seriously, where did you get those from. Those are too girly for Jillian.
4) Jelly did make us do 10 burpees at some point.
5) I like the warm up run to Merlot Ln. Might make that part of the regular routine.
And yes, those jump squats with air double high-fives were very awkward. I guess that’s what you get when the Q stays up all night to come up with exercises.
50% of Tradition is 50??? Are
You an accountant??
Sorry, 10%
Yes! The implication was that Tradition has 500 men! I quoted what was said!
Can’t wait to meet the other 450!!
I forgot to mention that Dredd Juinor joined us this morning!! Lmao!!!
Hey don’t give Jelly a hard time, he thought it was still ok to dress up for Halloween
Dredd Junior???
Hilarious!
He asked me to carry him at one point.
What’s juinor?
And @King Julian wants everyone to know that there is weed in prison??!! Who knew??!!
I was straight struggling today after taking the week off, except for Jelly’s parts of course ;-). LOL. Some of my most memorable beatdowns have been in the pouring rain. This one is definitely up there. Good stuff today, @Dingo….. AND @ Forgotten Jelly.
@King Julian’s face was indeed priceless during the prison smuggling conversation at coffeteria. Do you live under a rock, dude? @Forgotten Jelly, how many weapons do you carry at work? Sadly, per the statistics, you’re more apt to need one at the office than me. We’ll have to set up an F3 defensive tactics day and I’ll demonstrate all of the pressure and nerve motor points I know on @Forgotten Jelly.
And can we rename Jelly to @Dredds Clone? That was hilarious at CFA!
Dang, a guy wears a towel around his waist and it’s talked about like crazy.
I enjoyed it today guys, even if it was pouring rain the entire time, except for the final 2 minutes.
It was good to meet @Beetlejuice. Nice work out there. F3 workouts are already tough. F3 workouts in the rain are really tough. Good job.
