Moonlighting on the Greenway
All All MECA BackblastsOctober 29th, 2015
7 of the Precinct Faithful ventured out to a moonlit gloom to see what YHC had in store. It went something like this…
Half-hearted disclaimer, then mosey down the Farmlands, to the greenway access point (#curveball!)
Easy cruise down the greenway to the next access point, and oval-up for warm-o-rama: SSH, Windmill, Mericans, Cotton Pickers, Low Flutters.
Starting at the bottom of Silvermere, lunge walk up the hill to Mountain Laurel. Mosey down Mountain Laurel and partner up. Partner push up the hill, and mosey back down. Partner pull up the hill, the mosey back to bottom of Silvermere.
One-way ladder: going up Silvermere all the way, and stop at each driveway for Mericans, Groiners, and Jump squats, starting at 5 and increasing by 5 after each round (ended with 25).
Mosey back to Great Wall for 120 muscle ups between partners, while other partner runs the short loop around check-in.
People’s Mary: Freddie Mercury, LBC, Mason Twist, Pretzel Crunch, Reverse Crunch, Crunchy Frog, Low Flutter, Airborne Mindbender.
The Moleskin:
- Great morning for a beatdown. I was glad to see the moon out, so we could have some light along the greenway. Otherwise we may have ended up in the creek.
- As Field of Dreams learned the hard way, if you’re gonna be on the receiving end of a partner-push with Striker, you better bring your A-game.
- Nice to explore some uncharted territory in the AO, even a year into it.
- Nice work on the ladder – those groiners were killer for me. Had those exercises been combined into burpees, we’d a done 75 total. Not bad for a morning’s work.
Announcements
- Movember kickoff on Friday
- Beat Down, Chow Down Saturday at Tradition AO
- Convergence at Precinct next Wednesday for 1-year celebration
AYE!

I liked the creative exploration this morning Trail Mix! Striker, I would say welcome back to you, but I’m 99.5% sure you’re not going to read this.
