The Number Of The Beast(s)

All All MECA Backblasts

October 16th, 2015 By Drop Thrill

Woe to you, oh earth and sea
For the Devil sends the beast with wrath
Because he knows the time is short
Let him who hath understanding
Reckon the number of the beast
For it is a human number
Its number is SIX hundred and sixty SIX

Smoking In The Boys Room – Moleskin

Great work everyone!  I heard lots of complaints about arms and legs failing, so I think this one was a good one I stole from High Tide.

Nice job Tool Man impersonating Capri this morning as our LIFO.  Capri must’ve been run over by the bear yesterday.

When I get Swiss Miss to complain about a workout, I feel very accomplished.  Brother is always a beast when he’s on Q and when he’s just in the PAX.

Still dealing with back issues, sorry I had to wimp out on the runs but it was better to do that than make my back worse.

Announcements

Chum is on Q at The Vet tomorrow.  Be there and get a great workout along with a Q Clinic that will help you lead on your future Q’s (hint hint).

Joe Davis 5k / 10k is coming up in January and is a huge effort every year by F3.  Be sure to sign up!

I think I forgot one as my voice memo isn’t really loud, apparently I was talking somewhere other than the mic.

Thanks for allowing me to lead and putting up with my limitations this morning.  Thanks for posting. Keep at it. Aye!

  1. Shout out anything I missed.

  2. What are these things hanging limp from my shoulders? Oh yeah arms!

Great lead out there today DT. The curl crusher mix really did in me arms. ARGGH!

  3. Good mix of KB and running, DT. And huge thank you for the stretching – I’m terrible about it and appreciate all the guidance I can get.
Chum, you definitely need to disavow any 0.0 branding for Mint Hill Metal. Once is an accident, twice, maybe, but this is at least the third time we’ve had to run, and not because we got here late (Tool Man).
I think I’m on Q next week. Bring gloves. Oh, and anyone know where I can get some cement blocks?

    1. Thanks brother. The stretching has come into my life because of my back and I’m just trying to pass it along to prevent injuries as much as possible. 🙂

I don’t want anyone hobbling around like me.

    2. SM I agree, 0.0 is no longer a requirement for MH Metal. All future Q’s be warned, 0.0 is up to the Q.

Methinks I smell a mutiny about. arrrghh

As for the blocks, how many you think we’ll need? I might be able to get a few before the bottom drops out of my car.

      1. If you can score enough to have one per man, that would be perfect. If not, I’ll be happy with as many as you can bring. (Wonder if we could store them on site . . . out of the way someplace?)

  4. Oh. I don’t think DT heard, since his head was right by the disco box, but there was an awkward/hilarious moment when DT said to get on your six for Protractor. Tool Man asked, “Where should we put our hands?”

    1. Nope, it was me with the terrible comment. Toolman had the much better reply of “not on me”

      1. Yeah all I heard was the question then a bunch of laughter and mumblechatter.
