The Pax were 6 strong for a storybook workout, “Fartleks of the Hills”. YHC was the site Q but delegated Q-ing authority to Pavarotti and Chavez, as they had better plans in mind.
The Thang:
Mosey to the parkway.
Pavarotti lead: Fartleks 80% sprint/mosey on and off at every light pole up to bells mill. continue routine to Christianbury pool parking lot.
Using the parking lot circle: Sprint half, mosey half. skip half, mosey half. backward run half, mosey half. kareoke half, mosey half. defensive slides half, mosey half. sprint half, mosey half. sprint full circle. recover. sprint half, mosey half. backward half, mosey half. sprint half, mosey half.
Resume fartleks back to Parkway.
Chavez starts dictating:
Mosey back towards Downfield. Sprint up parkway starting at Downfield recovering close to the school entrance. Sprint up past the school to Shelly. recover.
Mosey to Skyline. Sprint up to the far light pole. Recover and mosey back down. Repeato.
Finally, sprint up and recover, than mosey 100 yards and fast run the remainder of the Skyline loop back to the parkway. Mosey up to Shelly. Sprint up Shelly, into bus lot and stop at the first bball hoop.
Mosey back to cars.
The Moleskin:
1. YHC signed up to Q because it was open. Yesterday evening the input was coming in left and right. Chavez and Pavarotti showed, so we went with their gameplans. Although, we probably wish we didn’t give the Dictator as much time.
2. Awesome, tough workout to finish the work week. Appreciate the push from everyone there.
3. Post-BRR we’re getting back to cone drills. Sprinting chizzles, per Chowder.
Have a great Labor Day weekend!
Stoli
@Stoli/@Pavarotti/@Chavez Good stuff today. As I was doing all that “faster” running I was thinking how there was no way in the world I would be able to motivate myself to do this. Thank goodness for F3 and brothers.
