COT

MOLESKINE

YHC gave the disclaimer to the PAX then promptly apologized for what we were about to experience. COP was ho-hum canned tuna, but good for waking everyone up and shaking out that bed head. Once we got to the long track YHC commenced with this morning’s lesson. After some quizical stares from the PAX Glass Joe mentioned it’s a little like “catch me if you can” which only confused some. Then Toolman cleared it up with, “It’s lap me if you can”. The original plan was for 20 minutes, but that soon faded into, let’s just get the 6 to finish one lap. It’s a humbling point when YHC is the 6. Then YHC took the pax to the “hillside” to run a set of Super 8s. Luckily EE advised to move the monkey humpers to the bottom and not blaspheme some passing driver.

Again, the BRR bros (EE and GJ) were ahead of the PAX. Goes to show what training with a goal can do for you. EE has an AYG gear that left the rest of the PAX in the back.

No one lost it today, and no one got hurt. Both pluses. Just O2 deprivation all around.

Thanks for the opportunity to lead you again fellows.

FYI – 1 lap = .4 mile

I think it’s safe to say, Double R has a high gear which is beyond everyone else’s AYG gear and THEN he still has an AYG gear. It’s like hitting the Nitrous.

  2. Toolman

I think Glass Joe brought up “Catch me if you can”. Until that point, I think I was more confused than anyone about what we were doing. #braindoesnotworkthatearly Great job today Chum.

  3. Glass Joe

Believe me that I know that Double E gear. I just like forcing him to have to use it more. #bucketlist

Great Q! That was a lot of running which was great as a follow-up to FastTwitch from yesterday morning. #BRRtraining #embracethesuck #screwmytiredlegs

  4. Drop Thrill

This was only good for one thing, telling me what was wrong with me so I could tell the physical therapist this morning.

I have weak hips apparently, no more running for a while (at least at that length) and no twisting, and very little of the core exercises except for Freddie Mercury’s.

  5. Double E

Great Q today Chum! That large track was a smoker after the burn from the called exercises. I appreciate you moving the Monkey Humpers down to the dark part of the bottom of the hill. I honestly have no idea how the MH benefits anyone either physically or mentally. If anyone knows, please inform me. But definitely hard work by all today and this is a great AO with a Great group of Men. Glad DT is getting better and keep posting brother! GJ, thanks for the push as always!

Monkey Humpers dont start working till you get to 20 or so. But I get ya, its more humiliation than anything. Always good for a groan or two from the PAX and looks of disbelief from any FNG
