1000…no, 1080 reps this morning

14 men came together this morning for a muggy 1000 reps. Ended up being 1080 reps, so nice work.

Warmup
– mosey around church
– SSH x 15
– IST x 15
– Cotton Pickers x 15

The Thang
– Burpee: 5 sets of 10 reps (50 total)
– Ground-zero jump: 5 sets of 20 reps (100 total)
– Merkin (on your knuckles): 5 sets of 20 reps (100 total)
– Squat: 5 sets of 30 reps (150 total)
– Mountain climber: 5 sets of 20 reps (100 total)
– Lunge: 5 sets of 20 reps (100 total)
– Lateral hops: 5 set of 40 reps (200 total)
– Front-back hops: 5 sets of 40 reps (200 total)

Moleskin
– Nice push by everyone this morning. It was pretty quiet out there. That was either because you were working hard or because Dingo and Buckwheat weren’t there.
– The additional 80 reps came from us doing too many hops on the first set. If we had more time I would have made us do one more set to make it 1200 today. Next time.
– I heard a couple people say the workout sucked. Kemosabe almost looked like he wanted to run. Hopefully that was all a good thing.
– Welcome to Hoodie. As I was told, it doesn’t get any easier, you just get stronger.

    Nice job by all this morning. It was so muggy this morning. I hope everyone else was as tired as I was once we finished. Now off to a productive day at work.

      I certainly did. This time I made sure we were on grass so we wouldn’t tear up our knuckles. Doing burpees like that wasn’t easy either. Definitely slowed me down a bit.
