Nine PAX road warriors suited up for some Harrisburg hill running this morning, completing 4-ish miles along a well-known route (Series Parallel-Valhalla) in some balmy winter weather. A good time was had by all–flatlands, long quiet stretches and a series of challenging hills, this route has got it all: Series Parallel-to Plaza- over Morehead – to Valhalla to Lakeview to Williams and then back to Valhalla and back again – 3.7 miles, followed by some fun coffeeteria at Rocky River Coffee.
The Thang:
PAX ran the hilly landscape, head lamps intact in the gloom while @Constitution @ColStever hung back for some stretching.

Prayer: “Showing up for each other.” Led by QIC. Gratitude for the grind, call to servant leadership and F3 brotherhood.
- Prayers for @Mayhem’s daughter, Ruthie O’Brian, for an undiagnosed condition that has landed her in the ICU at the hospital after having pneumonia.
- Prayers for Susie Minarchik, @Constitution’s friend
- Praise! for Nathan, @Exit54’s son, who deals with the ongoing challenge of autism– he has been going through a particularly painful period that so far has defied diagnosis, please pray for him. We can report great improvements, however, since we started praying for him last Friday!
- Praise for @Talladega’s father, who is recovering nicely from a heart condition
- @Constitution’s job search, for favor and open doors.
- Lloyd Wardley (@Constitutions’s friend’s Dad), Josh’s family, Lilly, Shelly, Katarina, Brendan and his Mom–Mom has cancer (CarpeDiem’s student), Eric looking for work, @ColonelSteve operation recovery and wife’s pregnancy; Β Ben’s family (young Harrisburg student who passed).
- Continued prayers for U.S. Army Spc. Sarah Beckstrom’s family (she was killed in the attack) and for U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Andrew Wolfe, 24, who was critically wounded but is making an “extraordinary progress.”
- Praise: Christian’s recovery (dear friend of @Constitution) and @clickbait, and a good report from Lilly (via @talladega) and also from Shelly (via @Constitution). And also a great report on Avery Pigg, for whom we prayed and who is racing horses with her friends now, leading a fabulously normal life.
- Always a pleasure to serve, gents!
