8 men “went out on a limb” and decided to show up to see what kind of workout YHC could deliver. The chatter was interesting and I learned some things. I learned that YHC needs to work on leading the group doing the Windmill. I also learned about the advantages and disadvantages of using cheap flights from Frontier, Spirit, and Allegiant. I think I heard an amen from Kojack (and others) based on their experience. Misfire gets a gold star for attending all the workouts this week. That is something that I have never done. Duce surprised us and caught up with us. Just shows his deliberate intention even though there was some confusion about the workout time change. Constitution, our MQ, is always attending even when the body is not 100 percent and we’re hoping and praying that you get to 100 percent soon. I’ve been there and Uncle Floyd reminded YHC to give praise (and thanks for answered prayer) where praise is due after being out of commission myself. Maddog gave YHC a compliment and said I delivered a “mean” workout. I didn’t know I had that in me. We’re glad that Mullet was in attendance, the Railyard would not be the same if he wasn’t there. After the work out, the fun continued at the coffeteria where we also saw ruckers and other runners. Imagine what I would missed out if I had stayed in bed. Finally, Talladege reminded us to say Happy Father’s day to all us those that are fathers. And he provided this quote:
When your Dad says he doesn’t want anything for Father’s Day, what he means is he wants: a phone call, a HUG, a meal together, a “thanks Dad”, and “I love you”. He wants to know how you’re doing because you mean the world to him.
Thanks for the opportunity to lead.
