1. Thanks for playing along. Different routes today and a slight change of scenery. Throw in some weights, stairs and 128% humidity and you have a pretty good workout, although I may be biased.
2. Strong work. I believe Escalade, Peppa, Dr. Lecter, Tumbler completed at least 4 rounds; Deadhead and Sheepdog were well into the 4th round; CPAP and I completed 3; DT did a drive-by with a round and Starsky ditched us early (something about a job and kids, blah, blah, blah).
3. Tclaps to Lecter for the 3 mile pre-run; and to Deadhead for the effort after a 10-miler yesterday.
4. There were some others out there running as well. Maybe the weights and thought of getting stronger scared them off?
5. Small (but mighty) crowd at coffee today due to first day of school for many. Hope all went well for everyone.
6. See Wexler’s post about helping Harrisburg Parks & Rec on Wednesday immediately after Road Warrior. We’ll be spreading mulch at the new Veteran’s Park. Come out an help if you can, even if just for a short while. Wexler said he’d buy all volunteers coffee.
7. Great to have Escalade back in the game after some much-needed rehab. He’s even jumped right back in to leadership, taking the Railyard Q this week. Hopefully no one tells him about the very long and steep road they added…
8. I made up the part about Wexler buying all volunteers coffee.
Cheers!
