Miles for Goldbond! Happy Bday big man!

All Rolling Stone Backblasts

August 5th, 2020 By Heatstroke

We had an even split this fine morning to log some miles in honor of YHC becoming a father twice over and completing the girl/boy set #done.  3 runners and 3 ruckers.  Ruckers did their thing, while YHC took off on the Marquette P with Jimmy Buffett and Soprano.  Safety measures were gone over and we were off.  Runners mixed in the haunted daycare and got 4.75-5 miles on the cruise.  JB ran to and fro, so 8+ for him.

COT:  Tons of them.  Afton anny this Saturday.  Albemarle this Saturday as well.  The Valley anny next Saturday, as well as Kannon.  HEC began this week, still time to jump in.  EH Challenge began as well, bring in those FNGs!

Moleskin: It’s truly a blessing to be a father.  Further blessed to have two happy, healthy children.  2.1 Goldbond turns 11 today and is turning into a fine young man.  Being a part of F3 is modeling the type of behavior for him that will help him develop into the leader he needs to become in this world.  I am thankful for all of it.  Prayers for continued recovery for Farfegnugen and prayers for Ace’s family (from the Ace & TJ show, as Sugar plays in a band with them and knows them well) as they grieve the loss of his daughter.

Good group this morning.  Thickburger was apologetic about not accepting YHC’s #22pushupchallenge…yet…start today.  Jimmy Buffett thought the neon upper on his short might be reflective…it isn’t…your shirtless body isn’t either, let’s make sure we are easy to see – front and back.  YHC had it on rave with his Tracer360, so all good there.  Soprano had a full reflective vest, good there too.  Ruckers have reflectors and are walking together, good there as well.  Safety will continue to be a priority, let’s do everything that we can to be seen by drivers.  Thanks for coming out brothers, until next time.

  1. Glow-in-the-dark glitter paint might be in my future!

I have a reflective vest but it feels gross without a shirt, partial credit for the headlamp?

Still don’t think you can truly preach safety and then have us turn off the car-free greenway so that we can trek across a state highway twice and along the most traveled roads of the two neighborhoods. Greenway, track and the less traveled parts of the hood strongly encouraged.
