Nice and Steady run down and up Mill Stream
All Highlands BackblastsJune 24th, 2020
2 PAX recovering and hydrating after Route 1 earlier are glad to see two more PAX arrive for a total of 4 PAX. No man will be left behind.
The route takes out towards Eastfield side of Highland Creek down and up Mill Stream and back to the Highland Creek Clubhouse.
The route was 3.75 miles but some did extra to get to 4 miles.

Lots of Fellowship and generally a not too fast and not too slow pace for the PAX.
The climb up Mill Stream did create a challenge for YHC. The Nanny reminded YHC that there was no one behind me and no need to slow down to let the non existent six catch up. The Q was the six for last half but Poutine kept with YHC to ensure I would not stop and quit! YHC would have taken the off ramp if there was one.
Moleskin:
- Doing a double down seemed like a good idea. Tougher than planned but no regrets.
- Pray for Jim (an early 50s neighbor of Poutine) who is going through radiation treatment. His survival is in question and pray for a miracle so he can stay with his family here on earth.
- Good to see The Nanny out there. His “first step” to return to F3 after resting his body to recover. Bootcamp is his “second step” and we suggested Thursday’s BC should be Q’ed by the legend. However, he cited long pre-planning requirements (red tape) need to be executed.
- It is always a good feeling to workout with this great group.
