A little cruise in honor of my newly minted TEENAGE baby girl

So YHC signed up to Q sometime in January for this one as he combed through his personal calendar for milestone dates that he could honor with a Q. Today is the day YHC’s daughter becomes a teenager! She’s been working on that one for years, but now it’s official. It was so meaningful to me that I didn’t even bother to mention it this morning…
Anyhoo, we ran. Forecast was like 150% that it was going to be a deluge, so obviously it didn’t rain at all. FNG Malcolm showed some Stones (see what I did there) by showing for his second workout, and KW is not afraid of a little potential rain. So run we did. The 18 year old FNG “former” high school cross country runner was kind enough to hang with YHC as he did some “speed” work mixed in with slow ass jogging. We finished up the Marquette P route, about 4.5 miles.
Prayers for Andi, Steel Cannon’s friend, who has two brain tumors. Prayers for Schnitzel and other injured pax. Prayers for mental determination for uninjured pax as well. Big Happy Bday to my daughter, Reese!!
So some quality names were thrown out there for FNG Malcolm the last few days that ranged from almost downright insulting to only mildly so. Two names seemed to rise to the top. Cold Shoulder, due to Malcolm having dated Marie Callender’s daughter for the last 4.5 years, with MC only acknowledging him at about the 3 year mark. If the relationship ends, expect the cold shoulder treatment to return as well. Solid name, but in the end, it wasn’t enough. KW and I stuck to the frozen food aisle to honor good OLD MC, and figured a young, athletic potential SIL deserved something along those lines. So welcome Lean Cuisine!! Great having you as part of the group brother! Aye!
