Pick Up the Six 101
All BackBlasts BackblastsMarch 4th, 2020
A few weeks back, @no-h reached out to YHC to see about a possible Highlands/Valley Convergence Cruise. YHC loved the idea and the date was set for today.
As YHC and @RickieFocker and @barrister jogged into the lot, a small crowd had already begun to form. In total, 21 (and a half) Pax made an appearance. We were all rewarded with a Highlands stand by route.
After a thorough disclaimer the route was explained and off we went for
The Thang
- Out main HCES entrance, left onto HC Pkwy
- Right on Fairvista
- Across HC Pkwy to Beauvista
- Right back onto HC Pkwy
- Right on Skyline for runner’s choice of route
- Right back onto Pkwy
- Left onto Shelley Ave
- Left into bus lot and back to the flags

- Great turnout and good work put in by all. We’ll have to do this again soon.
- Welcome to @Alfredo. YHC suggested the name Fredo after a self-suggestion of Godfather by @Alfredo on slack. @landlord came in clutch with the add-on as @Alfredo and his wife run an Italian catering business.
- Also, great work on your first cruise @Alfredo. Not an easy route.
- At the beginning of the run, our visitors wondered if we picked up the six. I can say that we do, but not as enthusiastically as the boys from The Valley. Hence the BB Title
- Speaking of @landlord, he set some Highlands land speed records clocking the route at sub 6:50 pace.
- TIME LAPS(E). Comanche is looking for four or more Pax to form a team.
- Do something good today

So does @Gordo count as a Highlands PAX or a Valley PAX? #traitor
