Looking to start of your 2020 Race schedule right? Dust off your kicks from winter break and gather all you gently used clothes for a worthy cause.
Did you know that 1700 people in one night can be found homeless on the streets of Charlotte, NC?
Strip it to Give it is a charity race designed to bring Charlotte together to help clothe our homeless neighbors and support local organizations that are preventing and ending homelessness in the city. Our race is out of the ordinary, and in the first year caught the eye of Runner’s World Magazine and The Observer. In 2019, 475 runners made their way through the streets stripping over 1750 lbs of clothing. In 2020, we hope to see that number double. See you at the start line!
Strip it.
Runners at every mile marker will take off an item of clothing.
Give it.
Clothing will then be washed, dried, and handed out to our neighbors in need. In addition, proceeds will directly benefit Running Works, Inc. and Run Your Race, Inc.
