Who’s “tire”-d?

Highchair couldn’t Q on today so he asked for a little help. Nimbus jumped right in to the rescue and I (YHC) had a little somethin’-somethin’ up my sleeve (thank you Gypsy!). But first, I had to find the shovel flag I left here last Thursday after Broga. Got in the car and just drove away forgetting the flag and hoping it would still be here when I returned. Luckily, one of my friends who walks the park everyday saw them out and gave them to the park security guard who locked them up in the concession area. I saw the light on in the building, made my way over there and there they were, waiting for me. I returned to the Pax, planted the flag and immediately did my 10 burpee penalty for being stupid.
Looks like there will only be 5 of us today, light crowd. Where is everyone? Regardless, we will make it a good one. Nimbus and I convened and we will co-Q with each other throughout the next hour. I got the nod so I began with a lousy disclaimer and started our mosey towards the concession stand, around the back part of the track towards the fields and initiated an Indian Run (Native American Run for those being politically correct) with 3 burpees off the back. We continued until we ran around the far track, coming down the middle path and circled up on the concrete area by the aluminum bench for a little Warm-O-Rama.
- SSHx15 (x denotes cadence)
- Mt. Climbers x15

- Windmill x10

Nimbus took over with The Thang called Four Corners
- 1st corner – 10 Plank Jacks in cadence
- 2nd Corner – 10 Merkins in cadence
- 3rd Corner – 10 WWII’s in cadence
- 4th Corner – 10 Jump squats in cadence
- Repeato with 15 reps ea corner
YHC took over and lead the team to the playground for a little descending ladder of:
- 10 Pull ups
- 10 Box Jumps
- 10 Dips
- climb the jungle gym, traverse the bridge and go down the slide with your hands in the air and go “wwwwwweeeeeeeeee!” all the way down. No “wwweee” = penalty burpees
- Repeato with reps of 8-6-4-2
YHC took the crew back over to the cars. It was early, but I asked if anyone was “tired”. They said “no”. I said “good”, and proceeded to get two tire contraptions out of my car courtesy of Gypsy (See Pic).

Partner #1 strapped on the tire (like Clover in the pic, not The Body, LOL )and would run around the median dragging the tire behind. Partner #2 would do bear crawls around the median. When P1 caught up to P2 they would switch and continue switching until they reached the starting point. We had a fun time pulling those tires and I feel we are going to see/use those suckers again in the near future.
With 10 minutes to spare we decided to do a little extended Mary and Stretch. Here is what I can remember:
- YHC-LBC’s x10
- Body – 6in x10 cadence (don’t ask how)
- Nimbus – J-lo x10
- Clover – Plank x10
- Loverboy – Sphinx Plank 10
- YHC – Flutter kicks x10
- Body – 6in with crunch
- Nimbus – ??
- Clover – ??
- Loverboy – ??
