“Leave no man behind”….in the rain cruise
All BackBlasts BackblastsOctober 16th, 2019
5 knights of the F3 gloom defeated liquid darts falling from the sky of darkness and had a little fun splashing through the puddles. YHC wanted to get one more run in before heading to Kentucky in less than 24 hrs to run the RAGNAR relay Bourbon Chase. Since YHC knew he’d be the six today, a “no man left behind” cruise with the rest of the Pax picking up the six throughout the route sounded like a great idea. Disclaimer given, 1 rucker and 4 runners headed out to the greenway.
“Leave no man behind” route:
- Since there were only 4 runners, all four of us grouped together. Run all the way down the the entire length of the greenway. The faster runners could run ahead but once further ahead, must turn around and run back to pick up the six and continue. The group turned around in the cul-de-sac and headed back the other way on the greenway. Pax then made a left off the greenway onto Astoria then right onto Moss Plantation, right onto Moss Farm, right back onto greenway, right onto Marquette, right onto Moss Farm, right back into school parking lot. The group of runners then headed back to the greenway to pickup the rucker (Sugar) then all finished together, leaving no man behind! Mileage for the runners was about 4 miles.
- Try and beat the following Strava segments on this route: Greenway Sprint, Astoria to Alexia Ct., Get to the choppa!

Moleskin / COT / Namearama:
