6 Speedsters went on a road trip.

The Thang:
=>Mosey around the parking lot waiting for Wild Turkey, go through the rabbit hole, then to the golf course lot. What’s this?! A truck?! Jump in the back and head out down Highland Creek Parkway for a road trip.

First Stop: Millstream

• Park truck near the Nanny’s house, hop out the back, head to Millstream
• Mosey down Millstream, sprint up to the traffic circle
• Mosey back down Millstream, sprint up to the truck

=>Hop back in truck and head to next stop

Next Stop: Christenbury Park

• Park truck at end of lot near circle
• Partner up and do sprint races
• First sprint is curb touches on first 3 parking spots, then sprint to the end
• Repeato with variation on curb touches (backwards, defensive slide, Stoli skips)
• Then partner sprint races (no curb touches) including forward, backwards, defensive slide and bounding.
• End with a partner relay race at the other parking lot.

=>Hop back in truck and head to HCE

1. Great weather for a June morning in NC….but the Pax still had to stay in the bed of the truck.
2. I decided to take a road trip to cut the time it takes to run all the way to Millstream. It was like the good ol’ days when you could just throw kids in the back of truck and no one cared.
3. Great work by all! Thanks for rolling with it. The look on Wild Turkey’s face when I had everyone get in the back of the truck was priceless.
4. More Stoli Skips this week, but no Stoli….again.
5. Finally, Pavarotti is moving out of the hood. Feel free to come by the house on Sunday after 4. No, it’s not to lift heavy furniture. Everything should be out of the house by then. It’s just a good excuse to have some drinks and say goodbye to an empty house. Bring a chair. 5837 McTaggart Lane.
