A running route for all PAX
All Rolling Stone BackblastsMarch 7th, 2018
YHC rolled into the AO to join Heatstroke and Project for a 0500 pre-ruck. Phone batteries and time travel were discussed as we pounded a couple of miles of Moss Creek asphalt. At 0530, Sugar, Pox, Golden Boy and Cream Cheese rolled up. DISCLAIMER and then we hit the road
THE THANG
Pox led the runners (Golden Boy and Cream Cheese) down an interesting route:
- AO to Haunted Day Care
- Haunted Day Care to other end of Moss Plantation
- Return to Haunted Day Care
- Then back to AO
Altogether – that’d be about 4 1/4 miles; but the 2nd leg and 3rd legs of the route allows everyone to regroup (faster runners get some extra credit where those running standard speed can just switch back)
YHC took Sugar, Project and Heatstroke down the greenway for about 2 miles (mosey on the entrances). PT included:
- Incline ‘merkins
- Derkins
- Tempo Squats
- Burpees
- More Derkins
- Ruck Thursters
- Plank Jacks
- Mountain Climbers
CoT
Prayer Requests:
- MC’s Mom
- Heatstroke’s Dad
- Sparknut’s Brother
- Brimley’s MIL
- Pox’ M
- Puerto Rico (seriously, Pox won the 2.0 lottery with Golden Boy – hungry for a beat down and has a heart for others)
- Those of us stupid enough to do next week’s GRT
Announcements:
- MECA HDHH Tonight – 26 Acres – 1930. YHC will not be present as AA will be crushing his basketball tournament
- Whetstone Regionwide Convergence at the Mineshaft: 0700 after which you’ll get to hear about the vision for Whetstone and how to sign up. We’ll meet at *Lot #7, 8907 University Rd*. Coffeeteria to follow.
MOLESKIN
- Keeping people together with a cruise takes someone with a PhD. Thankfully, our AO has Pox.
- Weather’s getting nicer. EH some of those guys we used to see. There’s time to get that beach body.

AYE!
No PhD required, just have to be a slow runner and have little knowledge of a neighborhood leading to a feeling that you don’t want to get lost. That combined with a faster running 2.0 (actually 2.1) leads to creative planning.
I’ve got another route planned for a larger group once the Ruckers put up their sacks next month, stay tuned.
