Australian King of the Hills

All Highlands Backblasts

November 21st, 2017 By Barrister

18 men pushed back the urge to stay in their warm fartsacks and decided to start the day in the Southern Hemisphere.  Unfortunately, the weather was not Australian like, but at least it wasn’t raining.

My typical thorough legal disclaimer was given and off we went.

  1. Thanks for allowing me to lead you this morning. There was a lot of mumble chatter related insurrection, too much of a good thing, and overall a lot of grumbling.  I take that as a badge of honor, and to me that indicates I did my job.  Thanks again men.
  2. There were some interesting sexual comments coming from @Snip this morning. Apparently the mustache changes people.  #Movember
  3. Thank you @Snip for indicating why Carolina Dry Docks are called Carolina Dry Docks. #Movember
  4. Announcements:
    1. @Alcatraz will be leading a beatdown on Thanksgiving morning. Start time 7:00 am.
    2. There is a Black Friday convergence at North Meck Park at 7:00 am.
    3. There will also be a Speed workout on Friday at Highlands for those not wanting to travel.

  1. Great workout @Barrister. Legs and arms are feeling squiggly now. Glad you opted not to do the crawl bears up the big hill, was still on my knees for the last couple sets on the small hill. You have also added another exercise to my list of most hated with the Australian Mountain Climbers. Nice lead!

  2. Heckuva workout design, @Barrister. Definitely feeling it in both upper-body and lower-body. With the Crawl Bear in mind, does swapping the name of any exercise result in doing it backwards? I’ll just leave it to the more creative PAX for consideration…

  3. Great workout this morning @Barrister. I have felt this burning in my quads all day. Definitely have to remember the Australian Mountain Climbers.

    Great job.

  4. Thanks for the feedback, glad you guys enjoyed it. It will definitely make another appearance

  5. Dang, I missed a good one. NO Speed on Friday. Go to convergence or fartsack.

    That is all.
