13 Highlanders started their day with a stroll on a perfect September morning. Temps were in the mid-50’s and the 2nd F was strong. The clock struck 0530 and we headed off for a Cruise/Ruck/EHFest. Run out towards RRMS, loop back to pick up a late-arriving @Gordo.

The route:

1. Head up Dogwood to Street Ave, make the right onto Ridge Rd.
2. Pass the fire station, make the next left onto Creek Breeze Rd
3. Turn right onto Jimmy Oehler Rd, left on the roundabout to Johnny Oehler.
4. Right onto Prosperity Ridge or Prosperity Church (couldn’t see if the rabbits made it there).
5. Add Bobby Helms or Craven Tommy as desired, then right to Ridge Rd.
6. Left onto HC Parkway and cruise it home. Add some Shelley if that’s your thing.
7. Mosey back to HCES and COT.

Naked Man Moleskin:

1. Solid numbers today men. I think distances varied from 3.5 for the ruckers (impressive men!) all the way to over 5. @Glock got additional miles before launch – sources say his total was ~15-40 miles… give or take.
2. Welcome to FNG Chris. He has the challenge of being YHC’s neighbor, which adds to his credit for showing up.
3. YHC got an opportunity for a flying EH on another “Chris” who was out running in the Creek. We’ll keep our eyes out for him and hope he chooses to join us going forward. #giveitaway
4. Took a while but I think we figured out all of the road names we covered. Unfortunately the original title of “Ricky Bobby…” was but a pipedream.
5. Continued prayers for @Stoli and his family. Praising God for Isaiah Prince Tarasovitch and praying for his growth and development and for him to fight off this infection.. (Born at 29 weeks, currently 2lbs-14oz).
