Stanford and Son
All All MECA BackblastsJune 21st, 2017
WIth YHC and Miracle Gro still alone in the parking lot of WROP at 0525 I checked Slack to see if I had missed any news last night and discovered the sounds of men afraid of the rain. After taunting Miracle Gro with the idea of packing it up and skipping (as if I’d really let him get away with that!) and waiting until 0532 just in case Marie snuck in late, we headed off.
Leave WROP and head down Lizard Greenway, exit greenway at Alexia, left on Ravenscroft, left on Ryan, left on Indian Beach, right on Fitzgerald, left on Moss Plantation, head to the Haunted Daycare and under the canopy, left on Moss Farm and back to WROP.
Throw in a couple of double-backs and we ended up at 3.9 miles at a 8:30 pace.
PRAYER Lord help me and Miracle Gro with our time. So many good things to do that we can’t do them all. Give us strength to do the most important things with excellence and for Your glory.
MOLESKIN
- Great effort by Miracle Gro today, especially considering that he’s been out for about 2 months!
- It would have been great to have some other Pax out there this morning, but it’s always good to get a little father and son time. I’m very thankful to have F3 to share with my boy, and even more thankful to have a 14 year old son who actually cares about spending time with his Papa and will let me drag him out of bed at 0500!
Malachi 4:6 “And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.”
…I definitely got my money’s worth!

Nice work guys! I will fully admit that I started riding my bike about 50 feet this morning then said nope, don’t feel like being soaked either from riding or running this morning. You are better men than I!
Thanks Jimmy! I’m just glad to know you were at least awake and thinking about us. Haha.
Well put, @sparknut, the enemy of the best is often the good.
