A rare sighting on the RS Satisfaction Cruise
All All MECA BackblastsJune 15th, 2017
The Pax arrived in the gloom to a sighting never seen before in the history of the Rolling Stone Satisfaction Cruise – Pox and Golden Boy waiting by the yellow streak ready for a nice long run. After some discussion, the Pax of 4 was off for the traditional fishbone:
Down the greenway and back, for those who actually know how to run add-in all the turn-offs and connectors, for extra credit go to stop sign and back after exiting the greenway.
As the dew lifted and MC, Heat-stroke, and GB left Pox in their dust a new sound arose thundering in the distance, a late but motivated Kilowatt arrived on the scene. He may have arrived late but he finished earlier. From my vantage point behind the entire Pax it appears that:
- Pox and KW did the ‘short route’ – 2.5-2.7miles down and back on the greenway
- GB did the fishbone down but slowed on his return adding probably an additional .5 miles
- MC did the fishbone down and back to extend beyond 3 miles
- And the winner was Heatstroke adding the extra credit likely netting him over 4 miles.
Great work today, thank you for the motivation, in the future we will have GB do the post

Thanks for doing the BB Pox! Looking forward to Golden Boy doing one soon, maybe he will be the Q? I was all ready to sic the HC police on Kilowatt before he rolled into the gloom a bit late. Good run gents. Pox and GB have been getting in some work this week, nice!
The one time I HC – the 2.0s hide my shoes.
