Change of Guard at Silver Bullet Express
All All MECA BackblastsJanuary 12th, 2016
The change of the guard at Silver Bullet Express went off without issue. After a two year hitch as the Q, Angler turned over Q responsibilities to Money, Horse and DA.
Dredd began activities by thanking Angler for his years as Q and challenging Money, Horse and DA to keep it going. Horse got the gaggle (35 in all) going with 20 Side Straddle Hops, 15 Imperial Walkers, 12 Merkins, 15 Squats, 10 WWII Situps, 15 Heels to Heaven, 15 15 Mountain Climbers, Planks, 15 LBJs, 10 Merkins and 20 Dollys – all in about three minutes.
Money suggested he could challenge for the name of Horse by directing us equally to one of four stations at which we began doing Merkins x 20, Squats x 20, LBCs x 20. Rotating to each other station, we did the same exercises, reducing the number by one at each station until we completed only five. [The Beast would have pushed us on to zero but we were a bit short on time.]
And DA closed the 45 minute session with a series of Mary’s and abbreviated burpees.
SB will next meet on Saturday, the 16th, at Christ Episcopal Church.
